@Habeba (congratulations, you got the familiar! Next round is yours.)
The egg seems to react with your presence, and you hear a soft scratching sound begin to issue from it. Your examination of the egg is interrupted by footsteps behind you. Whirling around, you see a shocked looking Raptorik. After convincing her that you don’t want a fight, she tells you that she found the egg a few months ago and, not having the heart to harm it, has been checking on it periodically. The scratching egg gives way to a loud crack as a fuzzy grey head breaks out of the egg, and the newly hatched dragon seems equally enthralled by both of you. The Raptorik requests that you take in the young dragon, and that she be allowed to accompany you.
@Sinjin
As you lay a claw on the egg’s surface, it shakes suddenly, and the movement inside it quickens. In the tree’s higher branches, you see small buds begin to bloom, showing flashes of pink, green and yellow. As if in response, a single hairline crack appears in the eggshell. As the tightly-wound petals above you open, the crack spreads across the shell, until it finally splits open, and deposits a hatchling with the same coloring as the flowers onto a mossy branch. She blinks up at you with pale pink eyes, her expression equal parts timid and curious.
@TidbitKit
You’re a little worried about what will happen to you if you grab this egg carelessly, so you first take care to scratch through the soot lines and empty the bowl’s contents. When you reach it, the egg instantly reacts to your touch. It doesn’t split, so much as the entire shell collapses into shards at once. The hatchling that emerges is green, with glowing, shifting spots of white and blue. Its deep fuchsia gaze is perfectly calm. It dawns on you as she stands and stretches that whatever this is, it isn’t a normal hatchling. You only hope you haven’t unleashed something regrettable.
PS: Be sure to check their bios
PPS: I got more attached to their lore than I meant to, so if you plan on just exalting yours, I'll give you 10k treasure for her instead.
