[/quote] @DireDragonar The gilded Imperial blinks and proudly gazes at the small bird resting on his claw. "We share a kindred spirit, if you will, and not simply because of our shared name. Phoenixes are not common where my clan lives, yet this one somehow found its way all the way down to our frozen aisle. We didn't know it was a phoenix at first, as it looked like a plain, little red bird to us. Our healer helped to nurse it back to health, and it bonded with one of my clanmates first. One day, it began looking very sickly. Because my clanmate was gone, I was the one caring for it at the time. Our healer said there was nothing she could do, so I stayed with it until its end, when it startled me by disintegrating. I had never seen a bird die before, but I was pretty sure that wasn't how it was supposed to happen. How was I to explain this to my clanmate when he got back? The next morning, a chirping sound woke me up. I thought it was the snow streaks outside, until I found out it was coming from my own den. In the pile of disintigrated bird sat a new, naked bird. I didn't know what I was doing since this was all new to me, but I at least had enough sense to keep it warm. It didn't take long after that for it to grow its feathers in, and by then, it had imprinted on me. And that is the story of how I befriended another Phoenix."

[/quote] @Rei50711 The Imperial eyed the stranger with the unnerving, unblinking glare that he practiced since he was a hatchling. It kept unwanted dragons away. Finally, the Imperial spoke, though his voice was rough and he continued giving the stranger a piercing glare with his pale green eyes. “Leaving the Windswept Plateau was the most liberating experience of my life. I hated the dragons there and they hated me as well. They practically pushed me out the door. I miss nothing about my old home so there are no cons to my moving. Lightning gives me a creative and logical outlet to create things that I couldn’t before. Dragons respect me here. I’m not ridiculed or ostracized anymore. I can be who I wish.”

A name can reveal your inner desires. It can reveal your past, your thoughts. A name gives you insight into who you really are. As for my name... as a member of the esteemed Kingdom of Hayashi I have a name with many meanings. Many say it means praise, or song. Some could also say it means accounts or serpent or victory. There are many meanings. I, myself, have taken the meaning to be "esteemed moon". Your interpretation could be right, but then again, it could be wrong too. As for how it would make me feel... well it certainly wouldn't change anything, now would it? I'm a member of the mighty Empire of the Moonlit Waves and am the niece of Her Highest Majesty Aislinn! Nothing—especially not a name—will ever change that.[/center]

She's wonderful at magic so she always helps buy making it nice for my plants, or cool for Luica and Adrian. Its a very nice thing! Also most of my cactus's flourish here! I really like it!!"
