Wait, I just realized something..
"Send this dragon to directly serve under your flight's elemental god. Such a high honor will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind their own personal stash of riches."
So.. does that mean that the amount of treasure you see on the top right corner is not all? everyone knows that when a dragon is sent to exaltation, it leaves an amount of treasure behind depending on what level it is.. Does that mean that dragons are keeping their own personal stash of treasure hidden from us? And the amount of treasure that we do see is just the clan-wide hoard? And what about hatchlings, when you exalt them they drop about 2kt- does that mean that they get gifted some money as soon as they hatch? And about higher level dragons, do they get their money from fighting? Think about it, they got that money from the mobs they killed to level up! At least that's what makes more sense I guess.
and that also means that while I'm here struggling with a few kt, my dragons are just bathing in several piles of money. Guess that's why we're poor.
All hatchlings are trustfund babies confirmed??

I have a little headcanon where the dragons have their own occupations even if they’re void of lore (selling little knick knacks like flowers and other things). I like that they have their own possessions, after all we can’t have EVERYTHING that they own, they are basically people anyway ????

Yeah, but in Flight Rising terms, we're not really people. We're more like hive-mind collectives of our clan. Ergo, we should probably see everything the clan has.

Awww, that's cute. I never realized that before.

It's pretty much like humans. We keep the money we get for ourselves to buy our own personal wares most of the time. Dragons have societies after all. Basic economy.

Along with this idea of them doing things on their own, is why dragons don't starve to death when they get to the empty hunger meter. Because even if all of your food stores go empty, they aren't about to just ... not feed themselves because you won't(or can't), and can go hunting for enough to survive.

i think even as hatchlings they just scrounge up coins wherever they go so that they have at least a little treasure on them from the beginning

A hatchlings exalt money isn't even enough to buy a pair of socks lol. It's just a child's pocket change.
