Cats are the worst. Mine mess with my figurines, I have a complete collection of chibi kyun chara (all the Tales of videogames figure) and they have already ruined two. They got the spiky hair from one of them broke and lost the stand of another one. It literally cost me a lot of money and time to complete the full collection... And now all the ones I see from the broken one on eBay are more than 20$ + shipping.

I'm currently playing Ni no Kuni on the ps4, and even loving it more than the first time. I'm going really fast comparing the first and second plays I did for the game.
I kinda benched Link's Awakening for it, Ni no Kuni comes first.

Also, finished my second play of Blue Lions route on FE3H (did marry Dimitri again because is the prettiest S-Rank ever) and apparently is Dimileth week and everyone and their mothers on the internet are uploading fics and arts for the couple and I'm like "BRUH, I CAN'T HOLD ALL THESE FEELS"

I'm SUPER into JoJo's Bizarre Adventure lately. It's this crazy homunculus of culture, like somebody stitched high fashion and horror movies and classic rock together and then grafted the result to a YuGiOh!-style shonen manga. Plus it's got that 'make your own' quality that makes stuff like Homestuck and Pokémon so successful. And it's just so... queer, honestly. Like, it takes place in this world where it's okay for straight men to obsess over their outfits and wear lipstick and hug each other and cry.

I guess my major criticism is that it tends to write itself into corners where the heroes get new powers out of nowhere because they couldn't figure out how to end the fight. But I usually forgive that because the next few chapters are always about the new power and the cool stuff you can do with it, and there's no cool power like a JJBA power.

Seriously, go watch/read JoJo. It's super fun!

I have no idea what I'm doing.

Ugh NO I hate it when they knock down expensive figurines, because they’re so fragile. ;; I’ve had a number of them knocked behind furniture that are now missing pieces indefinitely (disgaea palm scenery figures which are old and not terribly expensive but still)
You could always try yahoo!auctions if you don’t mind going through a middle man (zenmarket) but you’d have to search for things in Japanese...it’s basicaly Japanese eBay but you can get merch for really cheap sometimes ;;

Ahh!! I’m a huge fan of level-5 but I haven’t picked that up yet, or inazuma-11, which I really should. I know ppl can’t reccomend things enough for me, I can just never...find the time. ;; but that’s exciting to know it’s that fun!! I got the amiibo for the new Zelda game, but idk if and when I’ll get it aha...

Yknow, my partner put 230+ hours into the game and didn’t marry Dimitri? Sniffed him at the last second and married dedue. We thought they’d all be together in some magical poly relationship but the ending was (sweet) devastating lmao...Dimitri instead had an ending with Felix. Smh. We’re on church route right now, and after this we’re going to finally do black eagles lol. Might end up doing blue lions again, because it was so...good..;; is it dimileth week?? I’m so out of touch lmao!! I was really in touch a few weeks ago with the twitter fandom and then I got so engrossed working on charms that I just disappeared ;;;;;

@bluesardine
It’s been ages since someone’s told me to watch/read jojo, but every time it’s talked about I can’t help but think it’s like the shonen jump version of Tingles rupee adventure games LOL which isn’t that far off tbh. (Also, wouldn’t you say it’s akin to gintama? Which I also haven’t watched?) What I love from an outsiders standpoint is tha jojo really got people to be interested in Japanese a little bit, because that kind of insanity is pretty normal when it comes to comedy there. Just watching any gameshow from japan is like looking into another world where everyone’s drunk (but not) and thrown into an obstacle course!! Anyway, I was so happy when i really learned about jojo (which was admittedly before Pokémon sun and moon, but that’s when I could read Japanese a bit) because of the gladion jokes. ?????

Also, I’d like to say that’s really funny about the sudden powers thing. Gotta love when they’re just like “wouldn’t that be cool? Guess what...he has it now!!!”

Oooooh! An excuse to passionately word vom about my latest hyperfixation!!!!

Recently, I've been really into a really cool (free online) game called Your Turn To Die. It's up to the second part of chapter two, with the third chapter on the way. It's a visual novel death game a la Danganronpa, but unlike DR, it has a really clever and smart mechanic as your actions can affect who lives and who dies. (Well, that mechanic only gets introduced in chapter two but chapter one still has a few fun bad ends)

You play as high school student Sara Chidouin, who, with her best friend Joe Tazuna, gets kidnapped and taken to a strange place with a cast of strange strangers who are literally all interesting characters in their own right. Even the more unlikable characters of the group have their own redeeming qualities. When characters eventually start dropping like flies, you genuinely feel bad about the characters and from the people I've talked to, you'll cry at least once. It just depends who your fave character is as to when. (Personally, chapter two part one hit me like a bulldozer but I Am Very Biased.) Even the villain characters are interesting in their own ways! The characters are so good I felt compelled to create 5 fandergs, two of which are side characters from a single CG in an optional side quest who we literally only know the names of. I love this game and the characters so much!!!

I recently picked up Astral Chain, a Switch exclusive where you play as a police officer in a vaguely Japanese sci-fi setting! Lately, gates to another dimension have been opening up around the city, spitting out awful creatures called Chimeras, which blow stuff up and kidnap people and generally cause mayhem. It’s your job to fight them off and clean up after them, with the help of a captured Chimera called a Legion, who you control using an Astral Chain (hence the name).

The plot isn’t anything to write home about outside of the actual premise, but the gameplay more than makes up for it! In addition to your character, you also control your Legion in battle: you can send it to distract smaller monsters to give you some breathing room to face the boss; you can yank on the chain to have it pull you to its location, useful for escaping attacks or jumping across ledges; or you can use it outside of combat to do things you wouldn’t be able to do! You get five Legion forms over the course of the game (sword, arrow, arm, beast, and axe), and they all have their own quirks—sword can sever wireless connections between objects, arrow can snipe targets you wouldn’t normally be able to reach, arm can pick you up and fly you over hazardous materials, beast can track scents and dig up buried objects, and axe can detonate certain walls.

My favorite part about the game is that it lets you take time from the actual investigations to explore the maps and solve little cases for the people around town, such as escorting injured civilians to safety, helping a lost man find the nearest burger restaurant, or getting a little boy his cat back. They’re little things, but they really do make me feel like I’ve accomplished something ;v;

My biggest criticism has to be the way the Legions are treated in the game. They’re seen as mindless killing machines only stopped from killing you by the chain you hold, but they also save your life multiple times over the course of the story (most frequently from stepping off a cliff I didn’t know was there...), and I just want to tell my buddy they’re doing a good job :(

(However—the beast Legion is a big doggo, and you can pet it!)

Wait, I can rave about my hyperfixation AND throw all my fandergs from it at you? What is it, Christmas in September? :D (Sorry if it isn’t very concise, I knida just want to scream about everything at once ;w;) Ok ok, so, you heard about Hetalia? It used to be a thing about a decade ago or so, and I was really into it back then... Well, thanks to my friend being really into CountryHumans right now I decided to revisit it and BOY, I fell right back in like the Chicxulub meteorite fell on Mexico 65 million years ago. To sum up, Hetalia is a manga (+ anime adaptation) where the countries of the world are humans, and the humans are pretty animu boys and girls, because of course they are - and it’s really funny! Well, I think so at least ^^ There’s not much in terms of plot, really, it’s mostly just a series of short scenes parodying world history, culture, and international relations, all while poking fun at national stereotypes - it actually made want to study history back in middle school, and even tho it didn’t last, at least learning for school became somewhat more enjoyable when I portrayed it with the characters in my head XD Lo and behold, the exact same thing happened when I got back to it now, so thanks Hetalia, I passed my British History exam thanks to you unboringit it :’) Ack, ack, but I’m getting off topic- I was supposed to talk about what I like about the manga! Well, aside for the humor - and occasional angst, we’ll get to it - the biggest pull are definitely the characters~ I don’t think there’s a single one I’d so much as dislike, and the list of those I like goes on for so long that I’d be easier to name those I don’t particularly care about instead XD But in the top tier there are definitely England, America, and Germany. I think I really like about the characters is that, somehow, despite being based on the most obvious national stereotypes, they still manage to be engaging and endearing, like, you can actually get really invested in them, and I have no clue how the author did it, but it works so well ;w; And then he hits you with a serious chapter amidst the comedy and OH BOY, all aboard the pain train! Choo-choo! ;w; I’m still not over America’s War of Independence… I think those more somber chapters are actually all the more effective because they’re surrounded with silly light-hearted comedy, tho honestly I’d like it if there were a bit more of them… Well, I’d love it if there were any more Hetalia at all, but Hima papa went on hiatus a year-or-so ago and it doesn’t seem like he’s coming back >.< Oh well… Alright, just one more thing I want to mention real quick: it’s generally not something that the fandom concerns itself with much, but I’m really intrigued by the Hetalia lore. I know that people will read that and snicker, like “you wot mate? Hetalia lore? What lore could goshdarn Hetalia have, for crying out loud?”, and yeah, it’s kinda silly but it actually is there! There’s not much of it, but every time a bit of it appears (like the fact that the countries are not actually human beings even tho they look like them, or that time passes differently around them and it will cause a regular person to go insane if they spend too much time with them) I just go all *eye emoji* on that stuff XD I kinda want to write a fic just to explore the mythology of this series, as silly as it may be XD As for criticisms… I admit that it’s poorly researched at times (judging mostly by some events from my country’s history, but not only), which can admittedly be frustrating to a person that actually knows their history. I usually brush it off if it’s just meant to be a joke, licentia poetica and all that stuff, but it can be occasionally infuriating in the serious moments I’ve mentioned (*cough* The Conqueror of Northern Europe and the Champion of Eastern Europe *cough*)... The anime also has some issues, like splitting the aforementioned story about War of Independence into two parts and making us wait some 5 episodes for a conclusion, or heavily recycled animation in some episodes, or preview segments that go nowhere… But generally it’s pretty good ^^ Now for the fandragons, because this is Dragon Share and yet I haven’t seen a single dragon in the thread yet :) Be ready for overcompensating- Let’s start with my most recently completed one, Russia! He used to be my fave back in the day ^J^ Still love him a lot, tho I wish he got to be his innocent, non-violent self more often… I just want to see him and the others happy at the same time, dammit ;w; England, who was a birthday present from me to myself XD Personally I still pat myself on the back for the Marva eyes combo, I think it both catches his personality and legendary eyebrows perfectly~ Interestingly, judging by the name he came with (the countries once had regular human names assigned to them), it’s possible that he was once someone’s fandragon of that character already, tho with completely different genes and breed... This is actually the first Hetalia fandragon I ever got, which is… England! Again! But as a child. I might have a problem… (Anyway, I wanted a permabab Gaoler as a child England fandragon because of one chapter when he tries to grow out his hair and ends up looking exactly like a baby Gao XD I have a fantastic sense of humor, I know-) My most recent fanderg, Poland! I mean, how could I not make a dragon based on the personification of my country? I love him so muchhh [emoji=heart size=1] Here’s the outfit he’s going to wear once he grows up, btw: [outfit=922316] ...Actually, while I’m at it, here are other characters I’m currently trying for, because why not: [outfit=930716][outfit=937605][morphology=177825] (I don’t have an outfit for Germany yet ;w;) ...I hope I didn’t bore you to death and that you understood literally anything XD
Wait, I can rave about my hyperfixation AND throw all my fandergs from it at you? What is it, Christmas in September? :D

This is actually the first Hetalia fandragon I ever got, which is… England! Again! But as a child. I might have a problem…
(Anyway, I wanted a permabab Gaoler as a child England fandragon because of one chapter when he tries to grow out his hair and ends up looking exactly like a baby Gao XD I have a fantastic sense of humor, I know-)

My most recent fanderg, Poland! I mean, how could I not make a dragon based on the personification of my country? I love him so muchhh Here’s the outfit he’s going to wear once he grows up, btw:
I Want a Pony!

...Actually, while I’m at it, here are other characters I’m currently trying for, because why not:
Big Brother France~
Ore hi~i~ro~
Doitsu, Doitsu~

(I don’t have an outfit for Germany yet ;w;)

...I hope I didn’t bore you to death and that you understood literally anything XD

I recently got trapped in a fixation with the Persona series. I say I got trapped. I have no regrets. Though in terms of games I’m actually playing it’s literally just Monster Hunter. Giant expansion for the game dropped at the start of the month and it’s a massive improvement over the base game and I adore it. So many of my favourites returned in glorious HD and it’s just great. Of course I have fandergs, honestly I wonder why I do sometimes, but again- I have absolutely no regrets lol. By far my favourite new monster they created, the others were nice don’t get me wrong; but my reaction to them was ‘oh cool’. My reaction to Velkhana was ‘woooow... that pretty’. It got my attention much faster than the others did. This ended up longer than I expected. Whoops XD

I always love me a good visual novel, and it's good to see they're still kickin' these days. Looking at the art, I really like how unique all the characters look!! That overlay is also really nice...and I'm love scarf boy.

I know Higurashi and Corpse party had their fair share of bad ends, and while that's where my visual novel escapades ended it does tempt me to look into it more!! Bad ends are just....so good. I loved all the ones from Mystic Messenger, so I can only imagine~ Please show off your fandergs! I'd love to see them! ;w;

@NeekoNeekoNii
Astral chain!! I was really excited about it during the initial showcasing, though overall I feel like it is exactly what they showed. (nothing more, yknow? Which is both good and a little disappointing) I'll probably end up picking it up eventually, because it does look GRAND and I wanna meet the legions!!

Sometimes, I feel like no matter how far we go, there will always be an arrow shot and missed by a mile. In this case, something delicate like the topic of something potentially artificial being able to feel empathy, being more 'human' so to speak. But then neglecting to actually put in character development where you could have taught a valuable lesson to hundreds of people....u__u There's still room for dlc though, in this day and age where almost all games are now released with intent to add on later. So maybe a new story arc could shine some light on it!!

@Alcorin
I love it cause I get to talk a lot too!!
Listen...Hetalia. Is so good. It's potentially on par with Okami, one of the best video games out there. And why? Because it draws you in, it compells you, and it makes you want to learn!! It doesn't shove it in your face, it simply exists and entices you and in my books, that's kind of what makes something great. Something that makes you want to continue moving forward to keep on learning about it?? Fantastic.

I hope the author comes back!! The author to one of my favorite manga is also the author of Loveless, and they were sick for a while I think?? like years, and then they went on to make/finish Loveless so theres always hope!! They....never finished the one I love, but that's okay lmao.
I'm from the US and I can say he is very accurate to how americans are. (stupid) Romano and Sealand are my favorites!! I could never get that far in the anime for the same reasons you listed, but considering they were originally 4komas can you really...blame the animators...lmao..
I have never seen like any of the sad episodes but my partner--who introduced me-always gets REALLY upset and legit almost cries when talking about it so I can only imagine!! (Also Hetalia helped them in school too! Go Hetalia, what a good teacher!)

Russia! I always thought he looked so soft, and for some reason reminded me of Kaito from vocaloid?? (scarf I guess? idk I'm stupid) Vodka and all that yeah
Your england is...so good. Like the eyes are perfect and the fairies too, ahhhh
I think I might've seen that episode?? Or saw a screenshot.
Oh no!!! Poland's so cute!!! ;;;;; what the heck
Hey all those are great but France takes the cake! Love that stupid stereotype.

@Puffin25
I've never actually played any of the Persona games but I'm always excited for the fans when new stuff comes out for them! They look like very enjoyable games, it's just so hard for me to pick up something new : (

Joker looks awesome! Like can you really get anymore accurate than that?? Just give him a red background and a cat and you're good LOL

I...have never played Monhun despite making Monhun inspired adoptables. My partner played it! Said it was really good! But I'm again hit with the "This is new and exciting so I shall say I like it and will play it" and then never touch it ;; That looks awesome though! I almost bought a piece of merch for that dragon a while back LMAO
