To answer your question, @LacyFlutterby, you can definitely put your pairs in a post here to show them off or get feedback, but I do not plan on listing individual pairs anywhere official in this hub for the time being. And just so everyone is aware of my reasoning, here is why:

I plan to run this as a hub for all Ancient Breeds, and Gaolers alone have gotten a lot of interest. If a lot of breeders become involved, and all of them wanted individual pairs listed, I'm afraid the hub would get very image heavy and/or very difficult to navigate. That is my biggest concern for listing individual pairs anywhere. I would rather link to user pages or lair tabs or hatcheries where you can manage your own content on your specific pairs.





And I guess this is going to turn into a thing about my plans for this hub, because I haven't really posted anywhere what my detailed plan for this is. I want to run this as a hub for all Ancient Breeds where breeders can come together to discuss their projects and associate with other breeders. Similar with the sales hub, I would like to have a place for everyone to advertise and purchase Ancient Breeds. I'm not saying this will definitely happen, but there is the potential for these hubs to gain a lot of involvement, which would be fantastic! But I may not have the time to code or list everything anyone wants done if that happens, so I am trying to link to your pages and use spreadsheets for some level of self-service wherever possible rather than add a lot of stuff and have to cut it out later because I can't keep up.

What I have going on is a start, but if we get a lot of involvement, I may eventually need help running this or the sales hub. And I will definitely need help with pinglists and associated spreadsheets because I just don't have the ability to code some of the things that I know are possible (or the time to learn). If this gets big enough, I don't think it's there yet. But who knows.




Anyway, if anyone read all of that, thanks for reading! Any input is, as always, appreciated. I'm not completely new to putting hubs or threads together, but this one has more potential for becoming a monster to manage than anything else I've attempted.
