@Kigiku Walking along, you hear a scuffle going on above you. Looking up, you see a fae dragon being accosted by a congress of ravens. They seem to be unruly pets rather than trying to cause harm, but regardless, they manage to send [item= sunlit kelpie mane] falling to the ground. You start to rise to return it, but the whole group disappears.

[sub]@ladychipunk A sudden gust of wind blows through you, pushing you out of the way. In the exact spot you were standning in mere seconds ago, a rod of lightning hits the ground causing you to flinch. You jerk you head back, seeing the darkened grass surrounded by a halo of... lightning? [item=voltaic halo]

@May [center] You open your eyes after what feels like a very long slumber to see sunlight filtering through densely packed trees. You glance around and see a pair of eyes staring at you from behind the brush. A mottled deer steps out of the shadows, tentatively approaches you and speaks softly.. @MoonlitNight It's getting a bit cold, isn't it? Even though it's almost summer, a few flakes drift down from the sky. You glance upwards towards the heavens, wondering what could be causing such the disturbance. [item=frozen goblin] Stares back at you, it's fluffy tail wrapped around itself as always. From the bushes as well comes [item=fallbrush fraud]. Both creatures move to follow you, as you begin to shiver. Gently, the little goblin wraps [item=starlight guise] around you.

[s]claim[/s] @TheatreRaptor You've been invited to a masquerade! You run to your closet and start looking for the perfect costume pieces.. You pull aren't sure what aesthetic you want to go for. [item=black wing bow]? [item=pretty purple wing bow]? Ooooh, maybe glittery? You pick up the [item=sparkling violet wing bow] and stare at it for a second. Perhaps this one will do. You set all of the wing bows aside, however... you're not decided on them. Maybe you should focus on your face? It IS a masquerade, after all! A mask would be good..... but where is your mask!? You swear you had one somewhere! You throw a handful of items over your head as you frantically search for your mask. [center] [item=crimson rogue hood] [item=jolly jester's cape] [item=red healer's vestments][/center] -=whoosh=- It HAS to be here! More items go flying... [center] [item=haunting amber clawrings] [item=forest green tail wrap] [item=pathfinder's tail twist][/center] UGH! Maybe you'll have to skip out on the masquerade. You simply don't have time to make anything! Wait... what's stuck under that cape you threw? You walk over and flip the cape over. You see a [item=swashbuckler's eye patch]. Oy, this is NOT the mask you were looking for. Still, it has a bit of quirky charm to it. Perhaps we can make this work...

@Kigiku The old dragon running the stall gives you a toothless grin as you lift the strange mask to examine it. Her persistent grin unsettles you. The metal of the mask feels strangely cold and light in your claws and despite your best instincts you try it on.

Strange shapes take hazy form as you peer through the eye holes, the old dragon's leer growing only more sinister. She gestures at you, "you see them don't you?" Her smile widens beyond what would be considered at all normal for a dragon, "just take it kid, they've spoken to you."
