"Not exactly the time for jokes" he was barely able to get the words out before a hand grenade came flying upwards "guess they found us"
He would exclaim before extending the symbiote out forming a shield almost like a blanket over the two to protect from the blast

It was the sight of the gernade coming towards them that he fully freaked out "oh crap!" he shut his eyes tightly bracing for the blash but when nothing came he opened his eyes and saw that their was a black sheild around the two.

When asked if he had a weapon he rubbed his neck nervously "Ah, no, sorry" he apoplgized.
