It has been a while (too long!) since I have hosted one of these, so it is time for a
I have a few holiday dragons and I would like to give everyone a chance to take one of them home for free. To enter, just post something related to the holidays (whichever holidays you celebrate)! It could be a recipe, your favorite tradition, a fun image, a good holiday dragon - whatever you like!
Posts must be made by the end of the day on New Year's Eve - December 31st. All dragons come with the items shown. Winners will be selected randomly and posted on New Year's Day. My only request is that you don't enter with the intention to immediately exalt/sell the dragon. Good luck!

What differentiates this from a standard red scarf is a subtlety lost on most.
My favorite part of the holidays is putting up and looking at decorations. I love the colorful lights and holiday themes. I have a woodland themed tree that has cardinals, snowmen, deer, and rustic ornaments that I've been collecting over the years. I also enjoy driving around and looking at all the Christmas lights in the neighborhood. Some houses are just spectacular to look at, especially those that have the windows and roof outlined in lights.
All of those dragons are lovely and are perfect for the holidays. Cheers!

I love that I have a family who all gets along well (at least for the couple of weeks we're together for Christmas!!). As long as everyone chips in and helps enough that mum doesn't get tired and grumpy, things usually go pretty well.
My favourite tradition that we have is our Christmas pudding. We make up the mix the day before, and everyone has to have a stir and a wish. And we put in threepences and sixpences that mum's kept from when Australia changed currency in the 60's. When serving, we pour over some brandy and light it, then chow down - carefully - and compare who got the most money, and who got the oldest coin (this year it was from 1942).
I can't help with the coins, but am happy to provide the recipe if anyone is interested :)

My favorite part is spending time with the people I love,
I love making cookies and gingerbread houses and giving presents too, but it's no fun without the people.

My favorite part is making brownies with my family. Usually there are like 4 brownies left for the day after and we battle it out for the right to eat them lolz.

This year, about a week before Christmas, I kidnapped my little brother and his friends to a cottage where we played games, made gingerbread and went skiing.
Love dragons: 1 and 3
Like dragons: 2, 8 and 6
Would like to pass on dragons: 4, 5 and 7

@Goldia - I would love the recipe! What a great tradition!
@AliciaA - Are those actually the cookies you made? That sounds absolutely lovely!
@Juxta13
My favorite part is having the whole family around our dinner table and frosting sugar cookies to then compete to which person could make the prettiest. We would vote and leave the best ones out for santa to eat. Along with some carrots for his reindeer, and a piece of cheese....for santa mouse :)
I'd love the dragons: 5, 3, 1(Haven't had a skydancer catch my fancy before... that's new)
