Not many of my dragons could be considered "wild" but their clan structure is quite open, any many of their homes are very well hidden within the Foxfire Bramble. However there are a few that live further away from the rest. With good reason.
Phydune
Due to a certain
incident she tends to stay on the outskirts of the clan. She's a little slow but does enjoy it when her student, Alkun, comes to visit her with his familiar. She has gotten the alias of "The Empress" from other members of the clan.
On the topic of her student, lets have a look at him shall we?
Alkun
He was very much the runt of the clutch, his brothers bullied him relentlessly, to the point of him having enough and wandering off, before he was even fully grown. By some stroke of luck he managed to survive by himself until he reached The Windswept Plateau. From there he absentmindedly climbed to the highest cliff he could find, and after a brief moment of hesitation, right off the edge. He didn't even realize it at first, by the time he noticed he was plummeting to the earth below him, all he could do was close his eyes and wait for the impact.
But it never came.
Instead of hitting the cold floor, his wings had opened wide and had caught an
unusually strong gust of wind that was carrying him skyward. For the first time in his life he felt free, unburdened by words and stones that once held him down. The wind still carried him upwards, higher and higher, until he could clearly see the world below him. He could've sworn he saw a shimmer of
seafoam and spring around him, but it was probably a trick of the light. As he descended, the air around him held a magic to it, this magic was enough to decorate his very scales with patterns of clouds.
After this experience, he has devoted himself to freedom and exploration, never staying in one place for long, preferring to
stay away from the cramped cities and clans of the world, always out in the open and free.
