A blue and white Spiral appeared on the stand and clapped to get everyone's attention. "Thank you all for your assistance last week. With your help, we were able to contain a number of specimens before any damage could occur." He looked down at his notes. "We were able to field 344 volunteers [i]((guesses))[/i] with the help of 92 clans. A1 initially had a lot of promise, so we sent the most assistants there - 7 - to work with our crew. Unfortunately, they returned home empty handed. The ice floes in that area were too unstable and didn't yield any results." "On average, we were able to send 2-4 dragons to help the crew at each site. The entire Southern Icefields grid was able to be covered through your assistance, although A8 and G5 only had one dragon go there." "But I'm sure most of you are just interested in what was [i]found[/i] during the dig. Many fascinating fossils, of course, but the crews also had a few unexpected discoveries..." The grid map of the Southern Icefields was pulled down behind the Spiral as a backdrop, and he took out a large pointer. "We'll start up top. The 'A' row consisted of some underwater exploration. We were careful to avoid neighboring territory, and that could have hindered our search. The team on [b]A3[/b] faced cold [b]Winter Wind[/b] and had to be sent winter gear so they could continue their exploration." The Spiral then pointed to [b]B5[/b]. "The crew here found a high amount of activity in the ley line, even on the highest peaks, and ran into a re-[b]Animated Icicle[/b] that caused them some concern. But don't worry, we contained the issue. I only mention this so we can address the rumors outright, as I know gossip has been spreading about the situation." Quickly moving on, the Spiral pointed to the more stable area of the Snowsquall Tundra. "We were excited about the prospects here, and crews did uncover a number of smaller fossils affected by the ley line's magic. Some of those fossils are on that table over there." "Unfortunately, on [b]D7[/b], an [b]Unhatched Ice Egg[/b] was discovered in an abandoned nest at the base of the mountain. It has been sent home with one of the volunteer dragon in hopes that their clan can incubate it or find a clan that has a history of helping eggs in similar situations. We are hopeful that the hatchling will survive, although there are no signs of its parents." "Over on [b]E9[/b], an[b] Explorer's Pack[/b] proved to be useful to the dig in that area. Meanwhile, over in [b]F4[/b], a volunteer found an interesting cache of [b]Amber[/b] buried near the tree line." Speeding up, the Spiral continued: "In the heart of the Fortress of Ends, [b]G10[/b], brave explorers uncovered some important discoveries. Unfortunately, the nature of their work requires us to keep the information classified, but the Southern Icefields Excavation Company has approved a bonus of [b]500,000[/b] to be split among the five dragons." "Another crew nearby found more interesting scrolls over at [b]H8[/b], and an expert has been recruited to bring us more information about [b]Secondary Gene: Morph[/b]. The team at [b]I6[/b] was especially successful at uncovering [b]Fossils[/b], and we're still sorting through all of them. Finally, the dragons over at [b]J1[/b] has a minor [b]Battle[/b] skirmish, but I'm happy to report that they are all okay." "That concludes our wrap up of the results.
