I dont have any lore for him except that he is cursed -cursed necklace- and along with the curse the necklace gave him a reluctant guide. He is doomed to die a painful death

he isn't really a merdragon but he does look like something that's lurking in the seabed to murder you in your sleep which was the desired affect.

as for lore.... eh. Monsoon has a deep hatred for pirates, merchants,sailors and pretty much everything due to having been rejected by his father due to his weird appearance and left to rot in the sea. he attacks ships regularly and has managed to make many dragons hate his mere existence. Including MidnightStorm.

Had, because he crashed it. Into the observatory. Whoops. Also he hates parrots, but it's a fundamental law of nature that pirate captains must have parrots. Tide only acts to do whatever he thinks is coolest, regardless of risk to himself and everyone else. Together they must slay the wicked space kraken, Theo as punishment for damaging the observatory, while Tide's going to do it because it sounds rad. Good thing they hate each other!
