Tourmaline: He is Jade, Sand, aaaand... You guessed it, Magenta. He needs Iridescent still, but as far as I'm concerned his tert is just perfect as Basic, lol

misfortune is a gem i dont know what yall are talking about!!!!!
For Misfortune, it is pretty obvious that stained is the best tert gene; it warms up the Metals secondary, and makes the overall coloration more cohesive:

My custom progen. I wanted a water theme, and when I got that Goldenrod tert I hated it. It wasn't until Runes came out that I was like FINALLY I CAN GENE THE TERT! I came up with the lore that while treasure hunting in the ocean she ran across a magical artifact that gave her golden colored runes to increase her treasure hunting abilities. XD Now I love the tert so much I even bought a mate with very similar colorings!
