I've been playing in Glimmer and Gloom since it released (props to the FR team for the cool new game btw) and my dad was interested in it as well, so I've let him mess around in it on my account.
He came to me today with this image and said that five out of six times, he's ended up with this screen and been unable to move forward on the hard level. He believes this might be a bug; I've decided to put it out here and see if anyone has a solution to it before sending it into the bug report forums for him.
If anyone has a solution to this particular puzzle, I'd love to know it! Thank you!

Hey! That is actually solvable. Starting at the tile second from the left on the top row, try going down in a slight zig zag so you can hit a tile in every row on the way down. It will look messed up, but should put it in a layout that can be solved! Happy playing!
