I’m...glad we’re getting lair tabs...eventually...but the eyes are gonna screw up so many breeding projects and honestly....are such small details common thru rare are really hard to tell apart. I feel like the eyes could have been apparel instead of a Whole New Feature

So not only do people’s important breeding projects get borked by this update, skin & accent collectors get kicked in the pants too. [/b]
I’m totally fine with accents not covering the dragons original eye shape. I’m [b]NOT[/b] ok with the extra added flourishes of the new eyes not being able to be hidden by accents. If I want a dragon with the cool new eyes, it will ruin the look of the [i]hundreds[/i] of UM accents I have spent [i]thousands[/i] of IRL dollars to obtain.

I've only been on FR for a few months but I fell in love with everything it has to offer. The future plans are very promising and I'm looking forward to seeing them once they've been accomplished.
I think it's fascinating how much thought and passion our beloved Flight Rising Team has put into this and I am thankful for everything they've done.
I hope to spend many more years on here and - no matter how small an update may be - I'm sure I'll love it.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! My own third anniversary is coming up on the 13th. c:
There are so many mixed reactions to the eyes, and personally, as a breeder and hatchery owner, don't find it distressing that my hatchlings might come up with different eyes. If we keep things in perspective, most dragons will still hatch with common eyes and each after that has less and less chance of manifesting. I don't have a problem with this. And among the more likely to happen (Common through Rare and even Faceted), the color differences are mostly subtle enough to not make much difference on adult dragons. Yeah some are less subtle, but I don't foresee nearly as many ruined breeding projects as the panic seems to imply.
Also, consider the lore possibilities. I don't have a lore-heavy lair, and I don't particularly like Multi-Gaze, but imagine the fun bits of lore you could come up with for such a dragon! I say, have fun with this and don't be so serious (and I'm about as serious and choosy as you can get when it comes to my offspring results).
That said, I do think an "eye removal" scroll akin to the gene removals would be a good idea. Probably needs a better name, haha. As for retiring the scatter, I think it should. Let's keep in mind that this phenomenon primarily manifests in new hatchlings. Being able to try this on a previous dragon is a bonus.
