Tidelord ;n; May your Water Children's pride quickly encourage your return!!!! First up, we have Rusalka. Despite being born in the Sunbeam Ruins, Rusalka has always found herself drawn to water. On clear days, she would sit atop the waterfall which overlooks the Tidelord's domain and watch light play across the waves. Water dragons whispered prophecies to each other and played among the reefs. What mysteries lurked in the dark trenches beyond? From where did the Water dragons' divinations come? She wanted--needed--to know. When she came of age, and with the Lightweaver's blessing, Rusalka set out on her Search to uncover the truths which eluded her. Over the waterfall she went, and into the Tsunami Flats, where she discovered the salt water from the outer ocean was filtered into freshwater. This allowed life to thrive in and all around the Sea of a Thousand Currents. It was here that she first ran into the Wavebreak Snarler that would eventually become her friend. Initially, the Snarler thought Rusalka to be an intruder, and Rusalka understood its concerns. Without backing down nor becoming defensive, Rusalka calmly explained the reason for her presence, that she was here simply to seek truths and understand, not harm. The Snarler, pleasantly surprised, offered his knowledge and services to help Rusalka find a suitable place to settle down and observe this Domain which would become her new home. Her Familiar, a Shining Goblin named Nix, helps her to record and relay information back to the Lightweaver via the pearl it carries. Since the Matriarch was not born under the Water element, she needed a Guardian who was, in order to have a proper Child of the Tidelord to compare notes with. Leviathan acts as a kind of translator and ambassador between the Light-born Matriarch and her Water-born family, friends, and allies. Leviathan helps Rusalka to see and understand the shades of gray emotions between the black and white of truths and facts. As the most powerful magic-wielding warrior in the Clan, Shui has the honor of being the personal bodyguard of the Matriarch, herself. He is not always found sticking by Rusalka's side--but he is always close. He also has incredibly detailed knowledge of the Sea's floor and overall geography. This alone, without taking into account his expertise in Magic, makes him a dangerous opponent in water. On land, he is less graceful, but no less formidable. I only have one dragon that truly represents Water, but she's beautiful nonetheless. I haven't acquired all the items for her so here she is with and without. Triple Cerulean with some nice genes. I do have one current water rep, even though there are a couple other that could also be used but they aren't from the water flight. Anyway, here's my dragon Aqua! ...oh. yeah. She's supposed to be representing the Tidelord, so I guess...she's gone. [s]I'm sorry don't kill me-[/s]

This is my bubbly girl, Jadetide: She isn't from the Water flight. She was hatched and raised in The Cloudsong. However, her parents noticed her wings never moved for any reason, and the age a Spiral would usually begin flying came and went. Due to the dangerous implications of a Spiral, a breed usually only stable while flying, being landbound, her parents flew her to the surface of the Windsingers domain. The many dragons on the ground offered a variety of "solutions" to her flight-free problems, but none seemed to work for a long, thin Spiral body. Luckily, a visiting Water Flight dragon mused that swimming was exactly like flying, but in water. She offered to teach the young dragon how to build speed and flexibility in the water, and the Spiral took to it immediately. As she grew strong and free, munching on waterstriders and sea slugs, Jadetide weaved her way through the southern reefs, towards the eastern seas, where she now resides in the sunlit channel of the Sunbeam Ruins.

So many gorgeous babies! O_O This is Carmila, the only Ridgeback in the entire Lair, and I've had her for about 4 months. She's mah baby. :3 Rather un-Ridgie like, too, since she loves to play in the water, and spends her free time expanding the underwater portions of the Lair, or lazing about in the shallow pools to sunbathe. This boy is Vesper, my Windy male with a love for fishing! He's the one that does most of the fishing for Carmila, and he loves to spend his time in the clear shallows of the ocean, playing in the white sands.
