Im not really sure about calculating the hatchling points though... is it for every born hatchling, every heir, or only the final dragon?

I'm not planning on totting up points, but I think I'm sticking to most of the other rules. I'm aiming to get a [b]Magenta/Caribbean/Caribbean[/b] with at least [b]Shimmer[/b] and [b]Underbelly[/b] within ten generations.
I started with a Nature Egg, and this is what hatched out;

I am so happy this exists. I have two eggs and am doing a gem legacy pair and a flower legacy pair. I do have some questions though:
1. Do you count the progens in your final count? or is it only the heirs?
2. Is the first baby the First Generation or is the starting pair the first gen?
3. When doing counts on the hatched eggs, do you count all the babies that hatch, or just the heir?
I know this is a lot and has probably been answered but I just want to make sure. :D

You only count the heirs and non-heir offspring in your point-scoring, not the founder/mate.
The founder is the first generation.

Oh, I'm really excited to try this! I don't exactly have the space to pick up a mate just yet, but I've had a gorgeous gen1 tundra girl sitting around unbred and ungened in my lair for a while, and I finally have something to do with her!
Will update when I have a mate and everything (although I started looking on the AH and wow I kind of wish she wasn't Shadow, mates aren't easy to find!)
