I'm still fairly new here, but I couldn't find out...
When you post in a forum it shows your avatar, username, vista, and a certain number of stars under your username.
How does one change the number of stars under their username? Is it how long you're a member? Is it how active you are? How far?

It's based on how many posts you have. :) I think you need 1,000 for the highest one.

50 posts - Second star
100 posts - Third star
200 posts - Fourth star
500 posts - Fifth star
1000 posts - Shiny star
Though this seems slightly off- Eternal has 15 posts but already has a star. I think it's 1 star by default, and it increments starting at 50
