This is a resubmission of my last year's entry for male spirals: Yellowbelly Sea Snake.
For the wings and arms, rather than erase them, I repeated the pattern towards the end of the tail. I figured if this snake actually did have limbs like the spiral dragon, It would likely look like how I depicted. I did all of the scales one by one with a scale shaped brush, then went over them each in a little highlight and then a little shading.
