Once when I was brewing something right when I confirmed what I was creating, the screen suddenly shifted to a Walmart ad, covering the entire screen.

An ad popped up at Baldwins Brew trying to get me to go to another site to give them access to my computer. Its a very bad pop up as it can easily mislead someone.

Second time I've gotten this thing, it drags my page to wherever the ad is located. Screened it at the bottom, last time it was a skyscraper... that also wasn't formatted to fit ad space

Got a link now. Hopefully this mess is what's needed: https://u2.adxgeeks.com/click?bidId=bidswitch-rubicon-8d88bcfb-8058-4cf6-be92-fed68e3b0c7c-1

I was sitting with my 8 year old son on my lap answering Tomo's questions and as we were reading the question an ADULT themed ad with racy picture and the sound on having vocals that said "warning do not play this game if you are under 18" came on - I answered wrong to the question just to get the ad off the screen.
I did NOT think I was going to need to deal with ads for sites that are obviously geared for people who are over 18 only.
My kids (all under age 8) take turns sitting on my lap while I play flight - I should not have to worry about ads like this on this site. (I also don't think I should have to be dealing with ads that take over my speakers either - but that's another issue)

Ok...
I have a request for people receiving redirects. Please consider any redirect that asks for personal information as a phishing scam (be it offering a gift card, ipad, or something else.) Be especially wary of sites that look even a little like facebook or twitter.
The problem is that the URL's change, often hourly, they operate more like a botnet than anything resembling legitimate business. I my self have seen these redirects, but not on FR, rather I've seen them when doing legal work elsewhere.
If you want to help me block such things in the first place, you'd need to have a way to log the url's (both Chrome and Firefox can do this)
Chrome:

What you need to do is look for a line where the page loads a new url, and then walk backwards until you find the last thing (typically a script) loaded while still on FR. This is obviously easier said than done, as long as the redirect doesn't close the window.
You're not required to do this. But it helps everyone if we can narrow things down even a little.
For all other bad ads, please report the link, and a screenshot/image of the ad in question as per usual. The redirects require a special kind of handling because desktop browsers can see the URL's, but mobile devices have no way of doing so, and I can't play FR on an ipad waiting for one, that is too slow and the URL's will just change anyway. We need to block whoever is letting them through instead.

Just got this ad twice--once on my inventory page, and then once just now when trying to post this. Comes with a Microsoft Sam voice talking about how he's going to shut down my computer and send my non-existent Facebook information to hackers if I don't call the number provided.
@hiveworks Where do we find the line you're talking about? I checked the "enable persistent logs" preference you showed, but I'm not sure where to find the rest of the information you're talking about.
EDIT: ...shoot, why did I cut the URL out of that screenshot?? I'm sorry, that was stupid of me.

I have @
BabyCharmander 's problem too, even on non-FR sites. It's locks my browser and I have to use task manager to get out.
