His egg was left abandoned in the icy tundra of the Icewarden's domain, the hatchling inside left for dead.
He would've died too, if it hadn't been for the spirits. The ghosts of explorers long forgotten, shadows of elementals, winter wraiths, and so many more. How many of them were there that night when he hatched under the light of the full moon?
They watched him and they guided him as best as they could, teaching him the old ways. Food was a problem, though, because spirits didn't need to eat, though growing dragons certainly did.
He learned to manage.
And when he decided to leave, they let him go. He never forgot their kindness, nor did he forget their teachings.
A brief stop at a tavern in the middle of the wastelands gave him pause for thought. For weeks he'd wandered, jumping from clan to clan, not quite sure if he wanted to stay.
They called him ‘Ghost’ because he looked like it, and because names were a powerful thing and he wasn't quite willing to trust just yet.
He was at a clan tavern one day when he met a guardian, a warrior and a border guard, close to him in age. The warrior had dark, glossy scales, with wings painted the colour of a sunset. He didn't yet have a name, but his clan called him ‘Sun’.
And over the course of a few weeks, they got to know each other. Sun taught him to fight and to survive, essential skills out in the wastelands and beyond.
In return, Ghost taught him to respect the spirits, to honour them and to earn their favour. He told Sun about his travels, and when the guardian listened, eyes bright and full of curiosity, Ghost felt a warmth stir inside him that he had never felt before.
But good things never last, no matter how much you want them to stay, and it wasn't long before Sun had to leave the clan to seek his fortune elsewhere.
There was an ache in his heart that he could not quite explain,, even as he murmured, “don't forget me,” into the crook of Sun’s neck on the morning of his departure, paws wrapped around him tight, almost unwilling to let go.
“I won't,” Sun promised quietly.
Not long after that, Ghost left as well. He wouldn't ever forget Sun, but he was sure that they'd never meet again.
He did not look back.
And now he wanders, looking for another clan to call home, carrying his knowledge of the spirit world and what lies beyond, waiting for the day that he will finally be seen and accepted.

A smoldering skull with a toothy grin. While there aren't any eyes, one can't help but feel like they're being watched.

I just hatch a clutch of blue ranged pearlcatchers (some more blue than others), their adult previews are all in the bios. They are all in AH for 30kt, but if you are interested in buying I would take 20kt via CR:
Edit: I removed the female one
