Yeah, sometimes you can write like 10k in a single day and not be able to produce a single character/word in one long month.
Actually I think if you really, really get stuck, why don't just try to read a few more books?
Any books.
I once felt stuck and I was devastated, back then I bring loads and loads of books and force my self to read at least a few pages everyday.
So time passes and I finally reach that "Voila" moment. My Inspiration and my ability to write just came back to me and the thoughts just come out of my brain like a erupting volcano spitting out all that lava inside.

Thanks for your suggestion! Problem is, I've been doing that. I've been reading (not only books) and yet I still feel so uninspired and unmotivated. It's probably just something that will happen when it decides to happen again, like your "Voila" moment C: I do write poems every now and then, though; it's fiction that I'm struggling with D:

Well...I think just pick some good old classics, I pick up Garcia Marquez and Gorky back then,Tagore is also a good choice since you've been on poems.
The only suggestion I can give you now is believe in yourself and....don't even think about 'Oh **** I can't write anymore' Take it as a vacation from endless composing, relax and sit back.
Life gets rough and tough when the situation gets better.

Hello! Another writer here!

I'm working on a story right now, but I've stalled recently because I started writing without fully plotting it out first >-<. I also should be doing things other than writing right now, like finishing summer homework.

I'm not actively writing lately, but I've written a few things. Harry Potter, Dragon Age, Fairy Tail fanfiction. And I started a couple of stories for nanowrimo, but I always get tired the first week or so and give up.

Recently I had a dream and I'm slowly planning it out. Unfortunately, the protagonist in the dream was myself and other people I know, so now I'm creating some new characters. I don't want to give out my plot, but there is this... "school", and my protagonist gets recruited. She finds some things out, but it's not enough conflict for the story.

Actually... nevermind. I think I got something. Writing this out helped a lot!

Those are some nice suggestions, I've been meaning to read One Hundred Years of Solitude but never got round to it (too many other stuff to read, then forgot about it haha). I am generally more of a horror/mystery/thriller person, though I also enjoy reading other genres as long as the writing's good and captivates me.

Yeah, taking a long vacation now, indeed! Thanks for the motivation :)


@HijackTheJackal Sorry, I missed out on your post ._.;; And yeah, writing is hard when you have writer's block, but really fun when you're inspired xD ...which I'm not, currently. But it comes and goes, and you just can't force it to stay, so now I'm waiting for my muse to come back ^^

I like to write poetry. People say i'm pretty good at it. i like writing stories too.

Yeah that's the jackpot of Mr.Marquez. I read that one probably for four to five times, I doubt if I'll ever get tired of that book.
I basically read everything being stuck under my nose so...I can't tell. Mostly novels, but the range can't be narrow down further more.
Ah, vacation is the best thing ever happened to the world.

Today is the day I delete all my old stuff.

I feel like it'd help with my writers block, I have so many ideas but actually getting them out is like pulling teeth.

I haven't written anything in so long ;w;
