Was this game heavily advertised on tumblr? I mean, I expected that there would be alot of Tumblr nonsense being thrown in the site because of all the genders I already saw upon registration but there's quite alot of discourse to be found especially with the late night nonsense that happened. Besides social justice arguments and people getting so easily offended I'm starting to think that this site will only keep attracting that kind of group.
It's sad to see such simple things like a furry site get so full of tumblr that they try to make the site LIKE tumblr. Which we know will only result in chaos. It's also a huge bummer because the site seems to be pretty community oriented. Glad to see fr never grew to be like that. Atleast people respect themselves here, for as long as I've seen.

Oh yes, it was. Heavily advertised on Tumblr, Facebook and Furaffinity if I recall correctly. The admins meant well with awareness posts about genders and catering to furries in particular, but the Tumblr crowd has the tendency to go overboard. (Before anyone says, yes I also have a Tumblr)
If it wasn't for my own personal experience I wouldn't be so wary about the forums.
EDIT: I remember when they proposed the gender option thing on Tumblr, some people would flip out because their gender wasn't included and speak spitefully towards the Furvilla crew in reblogs.

Eugh, of course they'd flip out. It's never "enough" for them is it. I honestly think, atleast in my opinion, that it would have been best to stick to She/He/They/Unspecified. So that this kind of thing were people got angry that their genders weren't included didn't happen. You can always state your specific gender in your profile/Signature etc. But I don't want to steal anyones joy on having their identifying gender in a game finally. Especially because since the fall of video games things have been so strict to girl/boy or no free choice at all. I love seeing games with atleast an uncertain or not specified option in between, makes me happy.

Yeah... I err on the side of being nice and accommodating to people, and I also pretty much despise those who use the term 'SJW' because it's become synonymous to feminazi at this point, but these types of people have gone way overboard. It's the side of tumblr that is the worst, and seems to have lost critical thinking skills and instead live in this fictional realm where if you don't meet their specific standards (that no one has heard of but you) than you are literal human garbage.
I saw a forum where someone wanted to post nudity (and was upset they couldn't) and also refused to use the word 'breasts' because they thought it was offensive to trans people. Buddy.... um....
tbh I wish they would have just left out gender in terms of profile and villagers all together, or got rid of all those symbols. Just let people fill in the blanks with what they want. I haven't heard of more than half of them, and feels weird to me considering I honestly don't care what people on the internet see me as.
the rest of the forums don't look so good, but hopefully admins can funnel people to the right place, suspend spammers, and maybe put limits on posting.
