honestly what kills me the most is that Laurens didn't have to die. he was killed in a pointless skirmish by the time the war was basically already over. (1782) and Hamilton never became close to another man the way he was close with Laurens. just ugh.
also Phillip Hamilton makes me laugh bc he died in a duel but less than a year later Hamilton had another son named Phillip lmao

Honestly Laurens and Philip both didn't need to die. They were both only killed for some ridiculous reasons and its like...wow...you poor souls.
What always got me about Philip and Eacker's fight was that Eacker was 27 when he killed Philip, who was only 19.
