Someone sent me a birthday package that consisted of a nature sprite, two eggs, and over 100kt. I nearly passed out.
no one tell them but when i finally get the lair expansions and stuff that i need i'm gonna organize a huge gift bomb for them or something

There's a gift exchange thread in the Plague flight forums (I'm sure that's not uncommon) and there someone gifted me an unhatched egg. I couldn't believe it.

When I was new, way back in June or July '14, someone gifted me a Fire Sprite since they were quitting! ♥
Fire Sprites must have been only worth like 200k-300k or something at the time but boy has that gift appreciated in value. Since then, I've bought and sold several other Fire Sprites but that particular Fire Sprite rests in my vault; I'll probably never sell it lol.

Soon after I returned from my hiatus and learned about Dragon Share, I participated in a Cutest Hatchling Above You thread. The hatchling I picked of the user above me was a pretty purple and green CryShim Fae.
Not long after I got a message from the user asking if I wanted to adopt the Fae because she wasn't going to do anything with her. I was surprised, but said yes, and now she has made a home in my lair as Deva.

When I first got Firebird to work on my fandragon project based on "The Firebird Suite" from [i]Fantasia 2000[/i], I wanted to get a Simply a Flame accent for him. I think that year's Flameforger's had just ended and the accent was fairly recent. I posted on one of the Dragon Share forums about projects or something about how I was going to get the accent for him.
A user messaged me with an attachment containing the accent saying that Firebird would not be complete without it.
