heyo! o/
ive been wanting to come up with some lore/a background for my lair and dragons since i got back into fr (which was, like, yesterday, after my friend informed me that all the dragons had been fed.... because i am a bad dragon mom.)
anyway, im unsure how to go about! how to tie it all together! how to... do... anything, really!
(i mean i know HOW to do it, im just uninspired? that sounds right)
ANYWAY, the point of this thread is pretty much to show off your lore? i guess?

(i wasnt really sure if this should go in the creative corner instead, but its not really art or stories? hmmm. HMMMMMMM.)

Some of my dragons do have Lore - most of them don't :'D
I too don't really know where to start or where to end - so i just started somewhere - and the more bios i wrote, the clearer my idea of my clan became.
By now I at least know where our Lair is kinda located - and I kinda have worked out parts of the hierarchy.
As in I know who's actual leader - I know there are mages / priests - there is a pack of wildclaws for guarding - but they are rather warriors than guards - whereas I have actual guards - etc
I m slowly yet steadily figuring out more - but honestly the best way is to just start somewhere - and everything else will tie itself up the further you go! : D
Maybe start thinking about who's the Leader - or if your Clan has a shared Goal?

oh yes! i have a sort of broad strokes idea of the lair and the dragons' roles in it--who the leaders are, the guardians, etc. i'll just have to give it a shot and start writing, it looks like! :D
thank you for the advice! im always a little nervous to "start somewhere," i guess, but now that i know there's other people that do that, it makes it a lot easier!

thats true, haha. i can probably count on one hand the times that a finished project has bared more than a passing resemblance to when i started :P
( also, your dragons are beautiful ((especialy ozean and eismeer......))! and their info is entertaining and well-written! o/ )

aa i know what you mean! QwQ i'm going through the exact same thing- it's so hard to just,,, start,,

All my dragons have little bios about what they do in the lair, a little about their personality, and a little about their mate(s), if applicable. The meta-fiction here is that the lair works as a sort of Communist dream, where everybody does what they want as their job, and based on their level of "usefulness" to the clan, they're put in "tiers". Higher tiers get bigger allowances to buy luxuries, their dens are a little bigger, a little more lavish, and are closer to the entrance than those in lower tiers.
Then, a few dragons also have full-blown short stories in them. I'm working on one for all of them but OH GOD there's 75 of them. So it'll take time.
