Kazya jerked her head up as she saw Mersa take off. What the-? Her eyes widened when she saw the two dragons (a-an Imperial? Is that a Fae on his back?) hurtling towards them. She sprung into the air and turned to Kal behind her. "We should go help!" she shouted.

All was quiet. It was dark, and in the early hours in the morning. The old Coatl rose slowly from his earthy slumber, the sounds of his creaking bones bouncing off of the walls. The shimmering coat of royal he bore was littered with scars from constant battles, both lost and won, shifted every now and then with the steady rise and fall of his chest. His proud nose lifted majestically into the air, as he caught the scent of something outside. Something was wrong. He let out a harsh cough, then glared directly at the mouth of the cave. He stretched out his feathered wings, preening them, yet having an eye constantly on the mouth of the cave. The Coatl bounded forward, wings tucked beside him in flying formation. A hiss formed in the old dragon's throat, and he was off.

Below the Coatl's cave, a younger male stood; watching the old man's movements. He had been sat there for hours, as quiet as a mouse, waiting for his chance. He watched as the older male's tattered hide left the cave, halting his flight until the old Coatl was just a speck in the air. The young male shot up, dive bombing around until he was in gliding distance, his ragged breathing heard by the Coatl, the leader.

'You weren't quiet enough, Catalyst' The leader talked in a slow, husky tone. 'Your breathing always gives you away'. The leader eyed the younger Coatl, smugly and tiredly. Catalyst had always been a weak flyer. His aqua hide shimmered beautifully, glossed and blemish-less. He hadn't been in any wars, or even gone gathering yet. He wasn't seen as fit or able. But that was always the case for the orphaned dragons, the ones they found, no-one to look after them. Catalyst always had the disadvantage, being blind, but Lazarus, the leader, saw past the blindness and spied the youngster's determination and spirit.

With a hearty chuckle, Lazarus descended, Catalyst in close tow. 'Now, my student. You will do it again.' They laughed together in a chorus of happy chuckles.

They were oblivious to the stealthily silent dragon poised to pounce.

On the top of a large flat rock, lay a sleeping Nocturne male. His white crystal hide lay bare to the morning sun, his white facet wings and body covered in crimson crackle. His wings were curled up to his side and folded away, his tail laying over his snout. He was sleeping soundly, but the noises going on subtly came into being into his head and awareness.

Gigage Atsila woke with a quick jerk of his head up at the roar of a dragon, and watched as one launched his giant frame towards the pumeting ball of two dragons. Playing piggy-back. Giage Atsila shook his head and decided it was none of his business. he leaped off the rock and landed on the ground, near the still sleeping form of a female Nocturne, his friend, Danica.

Danica stretched her own white hide and wings, but covered in ice circuit. She blinked and watched the ensuing chaos, and turned to find Gigage Atsila just watching. She huffed and nudged him.

"Come on, we should make sure the aftermath does not affect everyone."

With that she flew off in the direction, not looking back. Gigage Atsila just sighed and took of as well, following the other dragon.

"Sometimes before it gets better the darkness gets bigger, the person you take a bullet for is behind the trigger."

Leyona caught up and looked at the Fae on the top of the Imperial. "They'll be able to make him stop! So be prepared for a rough landing!" The Nocturne's spikes rippled at the sight of the other's constant motion of their fins. It looked down and back at the Spiral that shouted watch it, "I'm sorry!"

Her green eyes looked back and wrapped her wings around her body as extra armor and to stop any damage. The light eye spots more apparent after all the movement and landing of her own.

Kal blinked a few times, as both dragons took off.

What the--

"Hey wait!" she yelled at the other dragons as she flied after them.

((Sorry for the slow reply! A bad thunderstorm knocked my internet out yesterday and it's still recovering >.<))

Rivi flapped her wings, jerking Arindel's head around the spiral and imperial to avoid hitting them as they, too, helped make it possible. She sighed in relief, crests lowering, before popping back upright in alarm upon seeing the ridgeback.

"Watch ooouu-..ouf!" she was soon silenced by a gooey dragon chest.

Arindel, meanwhile, had his eyes covered with his claws the whole time. When the nocturne was riding with them. When they came flying past the other two. Before he knew it he was being caught by the ridgeback like a furry dragon ball.

((It's k man, this is a pretty relaxed RP thread I'd like to think XD))

"GOTCHA!" MRSA crows triumphantly, the smaller dragons now tucked safely under an arm. This was the most fun he's had outside of home; were all draconic gatherings like this? How much had he missed? He made it a point to try and get out of the Tanglewood more often, from now on. The bigger dragon turned around, heading back down to land.

Curiously, the ooze coat didn't stick to feather and fur like ooze normally did; in fact it was rolling off their bodies like how globs of quicksilver would do. "Do you choose to drop out of the sky every so often?" he asks the Fae -seeing as her Imperial friend was still too gobsmacked to speak, or open his eyes for that matter-; extraneous tendriled/clawed appendages unfurling to act as impromptu landing gear, since his arms were occupied.

"The initial rush is fun, but I guess you need to have someone down on the ground to catch you. I've crashed into brambles before. It was kind of messy."

Kazya managed to catch up as soon as Mersa had caught the pair of them. "I'm so glad you guys are okay!" she panted, flapping her wings as hard as she could to keep up, her crest tense with excitement. The other Fae was looking everywhere in alarm. Not surprising considering they were plummeting through the air literally a few minutes ago. And also because she wasn't sure how long Mersa was going to land. Because that was looking shaky. And um, things were unfurling?

Panicking, she shot past them and tried to attract the attention of gathered dragons. There was an Imperial and a Nocturne and a Spiral....

"Help!" she shouted. "HELP!"

Leyona slowly slipped past them and crawled onto the ground, bringing her white claws up to its eyes and rubbed it delicately. From all the excitement going on it was slightly impacting the Nocturne's usual behavior. Making her seem more bouncy and flitty while using its spikes to express its mood. They shook and spiked out before looking up at the three, "Thanks for catching them! It would've been bad if they hit anything else!" Leyona exclaimed before looking at the Fae and Imperial. "Though it's great to have them drop in. See I haven't been out of my clan in the Sundial Terrace in some time."

She then proceeded to sit back and examine its wings and frills for any signs of damage before nodding in approval.

Once the excitement seemed to have died down, Rivi removed her face from the ridgeback's chest, shaking off whatever gooey substance hadn't slipped off yet. "We're aliiive!!" she cheered, pushing her goggles up onto her forehead to reveal bright green Nature eyes.

Arindel peered through his fingers with wide, water blue eyes, his ears perking. "W-we are??" he he asked incredilously, his voice cracking. He moved his claws away from his face to gaze up at their rescuer. Only to clam up and shrink some. Not to mention the sudden influx of unknown dragons was making him a little nervous.

Rivi coulda kissed the dragon she was so happy! Her crests gave a few enthusiastic wiggles, before she, too, gazed up to get a good look at who caught them. "..Wow..You're uh.."

She paused.

"...Somethin'..!" she chirped, hoping it sounded enough like a compliment. She then took a brief moment to take in her surroundings. Lots of dragons. Lots of land.

Fellow Fae!!
