Hello hello! I used to be super active on FR back in ye olden days but fell off around 2018 or so, but I'm looking to get back into it, so I figured I'd say hello

i'm a little overwhelmed with all of the new content, but I figure I'll learn it all in time!

Right now with the Greenskeeper Gathering going on is probably the most perfect time to come back with the familiars and the new skins! I have hatchlings of all themes throughout the month, and all of the hatchlings need a home! :D So I want to extend that offer to you as someone who is new to the game. You can either look directly at my lair and in the first tab is my hatchery, if any of those dragons interest you, or any from my emporium that are not leveled or in active trade, you can throw me a message with the ID, or the image tag of the dragon you want and I'm happy to give them to you free of charge! Or if none interest you right now, click my adoption banner in my signature and subscribe to my pinglist for my adoption list for new hatches in case any of those catch your eye - and it still applies! :D I'm also not opposed to any friend requests that come my way either, always happy to accept. Welcome back, dex!! Everyone gets excited when a former player returns!! You're going to be amazed at all the changes (I'm also a 2014 reg window player)!!

below is what I typically share with new / returning players; there might be basic info it will help you re-connect with, and anything pertaining to new players, such as giveaways, is usually pertinent to returnees, too

ALSO, and this is a BIG also, older dragons are now highly collectible so I'd highly recommend you check out Galopa's Old Oaks and the Old Dragon Collectors Association if you're considering selling, exalting, or rehoming your older dragons; they've worth a lot to collectors, and that's a big change in the last several years (there are many other oldies organizations; these are the two I personally know best)

you might want to look through your Hoard and be cautious at re-selling until you're sure what something is worth in today's values; some apparel and familiars have pretty astounding prices these days!!

Here’s a few quick tips you might find useful…

• you’ll find that you won’t need tons of money right away -- there are free dragons (and free stuff) everywhere...check out the Raffles & Giveaways forums…I'll link you some personal faves below...
• give each dragon a Familiar & bond with Familiars daily, for a bit of treasure and some treasure chest rewards as they level up
• keep your dragons well-fed -- over 80% at all times -- to get your daily well-fed bonuses
• Which Waystone (Library menu, left) suggests daily activities and tasks for you, helping you explore the vast world of Sornieth
• under Library / Forums, 1st column, halfway down, are your Earth Flight-only forums. Introduce yourself to your fellow "Pebbles" and see what goodies / assistance your Flight offers their new players
  -- if you Discord, this is where you request Earth's Flight server access
  
  --also, Earth is BOSS at Dominance, if you remember any of that, so if that's your thing, they're almost always in the Top 3 each week (said with mad respect)
• Guide to FR Abbreviations will help you understand “forum-speak”
• to reply to someone on a Forum thread, just type @username and they'll get a notification
• the geniuses at Tiny Little Questions save me all the time -- bookmark them, I'm serious!! xD
• upper right corner next to your u/n, down arrow, you'll find your Account Settings -- this is where you set up a Forum Signature, Avatar, & Vista…and also where you can Log Out

@BunnySox gosh thats such amazing info, thank you for the warm welcome!! For a while back in the day I was trying to gather every single familiar so I have a lot of oldies, good to know they might be worth something nowadays. I was also somewhat into dominance, I'm real proud to hear that one of the smallest groups (if earth is still real small, comparatively) is consistently excelling at dom!!

I've genuinely missed the community here, I remember everyone being so so nice and kind and I'm so happy to see that's continued!!

yw for the info, and yep, Earth is still the smallest Flight, but they make up for it in DOM performance!!! ^^
