hi! i'm wondering if you would be willing to help me auction off this dragon? pretty inexperienced with g1 selling and i've never had a g1 double anywhere near me before so i'll probably need a lot of handholding lol ;v;

based on aeg1s, the closest dragon to her in colour [ice/ice/chartreuse] went for 7kg, although i'm not sure how valuable a comparison that is - the older dragon's eyes match better [lightning as opposed to arcane], but i imagine mine being a christmas day hatch especially as specifically an ice double would factor into her value, although again i have no idea by how much because i'm too broke for g1 doubles lmao
if you don't mind helping me with pricing and auction guideline decisions, i'd really appreciate your services! i'm about to go to bed but once i'm up again i'll do my best to help put a plan together, if you're up for working with me :] thanks for your time either way!

hey there! i honestly think 7kg is a pretty good comparable price - even with the less matchy eyes, they can easily be changed to something like pastel or faded, so it's not a super big deal. that, plus ice's accent color matching pretty closely to pear + the christmas hatch date, i believe 7kg would be a good starting bid.

as for the other things, i'd go with my usuals: 1 week auction, 2 hour snipe guard, 500g minimum bid increase.
what i'd need from you: gems only or mixed payment? are there items you would accept too (ex: eggs)? and would you want to include an autobuy price?

that all sounds alright to me! payment wise i'm fine with any mix of gems and treasure at the standard 1:1000 rate, but i'd rather not mess around with items. i'd also like for the payment to come all at once rather than with a plan, since i have a bad memory with numbers and schedules, but i'm fine holding onto her for a while if the auction winner needs time to secure funds [however long you usually limit holds to should be fine!]
i'd like to have an autobuy price just because i'd feel bad in the admittedly very unlikely scenario that a couple of people bid warring results in the price skyrocketing to way way more than she's worth, so maybe something like 100kg? less of a 'you can grab this dragon right away for this price wow!' and more of a 'you guys scare me please just take the dragon' kinda thing lmao. [unless there's another generally accepted way to prevent bid wars from spiralling wildly out of control, in which case i'm open to suggestions!]

i'd say up to a month for holds? for such a potentially expensive dragon i think it's worth allowing a good bit of time to gather gems through slower processes like skinccent selling or liquidating expensive items. and in my experience the one-month mark is about the point where i start to get actively annoyed with a temporary dragon for eating all my food lmao

alright, so after some digging, i found a similar dragon (sky/sky/blood) sold for 4kg. i also found a less similar dragon (ice/ice/cherry) had a sb of 5kg and sold for 9kg. i would honestly recommend going with a starting bid of 4kg, since the comparison i found is the most similar + he's been bred. as always, if you'd prefer a different price, let me know and we can figure something out :)
