I know I've posted images from Tumblr onto here before, using the [ img ] [ / img ] feature, but today it looks like it's not working? Am I doing something wrong? Opening the image in a new tab to get the link and putting said link in the [ img ] brackets?

without seeing the image link you're using I can only guess you're using the web url instead of the image url. Make sure it ends in a file extension (.png, .jpeg etc.)
