I know there’s rules on what topics you can bump threads in but I can’t find any rule on how often. Is there a generally agree upon “appropriate” time to bump a thread? I’ve been bumping my sales threads every hour or more unless it’s like three pages back.

There's no official rule. The unspoken etiquette is just not to bump while your thread is still on the first page.
