If I block someone does that hide my threads and vice versa?

There's certain specific topics that I don't want to see and I'm thinking maybe if I ask ppl who frequently post said topics to block me then maybe I can improve my fr experience?

No. All it does is hide the clan profile, any auctions and the lair/HDen for both people regardless of who blocked first.

@Servamp blocking an user hides contents of the blocked user's forum posts from you, and hides their username in the thread lists (instead it will only list "blocked user"), and prevents their posts from showing up in your search results. this is one way thing, and wont prevent posts from showing up in forums.

Yeah, that's not what I aiming for so stuck waiting and hoping for a hide thread feature.

It won't happen. People would abuse it to moderate their threads if they could hide their threads from blocked people or prevent blocked people from posting in their threads. All forum threads are public.
