So ... is there any drawback to re-melting green ooze and seeing if it comes out a different color? Like goo or sludge, okay, if you re-melt them than they become ooze, and rarer colors would just be likely to come out as not-rare colors, but why don't people re-melt green ooze all the time?

You can't re-melt things you brew at Baldwin's. So if you've got green ooze, you're stuck with green ooze. You can't re-melt it into something else.

@AlexisFirestorm heads up - this thread is from 2018, before those Lv 10 recipes were added. it's best to check dates before posting and leave threads alone if they're older than a few months, as information in them can be outdated (as is the case here).
