Hey! So it's my friend's birthday today. I've never met her IRL, and we only talk on Flight Rising, so I can't send her a gift. So I made her a card and took photos of it so that I could give something to her, but I can't get the coding right. I tried about four different ways. I uploaded my photos from Messenger/Facebook, went to "view photo" like I would to code a picture of my dragons, but that didn't work. Any suggestions?

@Lelaina
For IMG code to work here, all image URLs need to end with an image extension like .PNG, .GIF or .JPEG
What is the link? It would make it easier for someone to help to actually see what went wrong.

This is what I got. I clicked on my photo I sent as a message (on Facebook) and then clicked "View Image" and got this.
https://scontent-ord1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfp1/v/t34.0-12/11903507_936186219760498_1702804878_n.jpg?oh=f62f115e2b4a396e583faa31ebf716ad&oe=55DEF86D

@Lelaina
The link is too long for Flight Rising, so it will get cut off, try uploading the image to a different site, like http://imgur.com or http://tinypic.com.

@OliveYou
Just an FYI - the length of the link is not the problem. There's two issues here:
- The link does not end in an image type (.png, .jpg etc) so what you're linking to isn't actually an image, it's a page which contains that image. Usually in this case you'd just strip the url back to the .jpg that's already in there
That leads us to the second issue...
- Images from facebook messages are not publicly accessible. Whether corrected or the base link, clicking on that leads to a broken link (at least for anyone not you - I don't know if you've tried clicking on it)
Maki's solution is however completely valid, if for the wrong reasons, and if you make an account on imgur images you upload will not go on the front page.
