still in denial but watching youtube videos and doing some roleplay to cope. i'm just so tired.

Reminder that there's about 20 million mail-in votes that haven't been counted yet. The election results are not official for another week at least.
I don't want to get too political (since FR can be strict about that), but as a gay trans guy, I feel y'all's fear. But we can still have a little bit of hope.
Take the day off, stop looking at the news for the time being (especially if it's sending you into panic attacks), drink some water, and do something to calm your mind. I'm taking the day off school and playing some video games.
Be kind to yourselves, and try to stay strong in the face of everything going on. You are all very loved.

woke up, opened twitter, realised "why am i on twitter do i want to be miserable" and came here instead, and theres a thread about it anyways lol
not surprised by any means. any lesson in us history would tell someone that this was coming from a mile away. times of political, financial, and societal uncertaincy = people vote conservative. also; do you know how many merch stands i've seen?? if anything, red is a whole lot more passionate than blue (maybe its the doomer 'nothing matters' attitude of young voters about everything that led to such poor turnout)
very concerning policies and i'm morbidly fascinated to see how it'll go. the general feelings in this thread was the same attitude people had in 2016, but this time theres a red majority in govt so theres a greater chance things will actually happen. but it is what it is. maybe the remaining votes would turn it around (doubt)
i'll keep my head down until 2028. unless i get deported lol
on the flipside; fr is going very well! finally got to change my user and am chugging along on lore again. slowly making enough gems to finish all my projects!!

I have a dragon hoarding problem.
I've been having a great week. In a good mood and the weather's been nice. I've been doing a dom program for Ice that's really fun, and I have a ton of eggs in the nest.

Anyway. I've got some medical procedures to try and start scheduling, among other activities. FR-wise I've been saving up tons of money for Night of the Nocturne, so at least there's that. Looking forward to using that grinding time to listen to some podcasts. I'm thinking Old Gods of Appalachia or The Magnus Archives.
