S U M M A R Y
To most, Salem comes off as someone easy to talk to, someone you can go to in the event of trouble. He has an elegant air about him and a smooth way of talking that seems sociable and pleasant. However, his eyes are slanted downward and always have a subtle and hidden somber tone to them, giving the feeling that he isn’t as happy as he seems. In truth, Salem is horribly lonely. His late husband died in a way unknown even to him, and he found his corpse in their bed, as if he were asleep. Salem never recovered. He puts up a mask of being an extrovert that is always happy to talk to people, when in reality he’s constantly tormented by his husband’s death. He treasures his notebooks and they are his most prized possessions. His shop is dimly lit and filled with flowers, and smells of herbs. There is a small area for his goose. T R I V I A » Runs a flower shop. » Keeps his long hair in a fancy braid, which usually has bits of flowers and leaves in them. » His earrings are a gift from his late husband, whose cause of death isn’t known. » His goose is named Percy and he has had him since childhood. » Has a slightly feminine appearance. » Knows Esme and treats her like a daughter. » Misses his husband terribly and spends his evenings re-reading his husband’s diaries and notebooks. » Has cataracts and it has blinded him completely in one eye. » He reminds me of the song “Non Believer” by London Grammar bc it’s sad and he’s sad » Bought for 50g and gened and dressed on 8/6/24.
