hehe i would love to hear your thoughts!! i really enjoyed Godkiller but im almost done with Sunbringer and have conflicting feelings....

here to update! both sunbringer and horse were phenomenal! sunbringer was very slow until the third act, honestly. as soon as the danger begins it gets reeeeally fun. horse was a great historical fiction perspective, specially if you like art history!
right now im juggling mercedes lackey's arrows to the queen and loving it, as well as t. kingfisher's paladin's grace. not loving it, but i maybe i just don't find the love interests that engaging. we'll see!

I'm re-listening to Rhythm of War (Brandon Sanderson) to get ready for the next book, Wind and Truth, to drop in December.

Alley by Junji ito. It's the first manga I've ever read and I'm quite enjoying it. I'm 7/10 stories through the book.

Planning on rereading A Game of Thrones! And the rest of the series of A Song of Ice and Fire. We only got through the first two books and part of the third before life got hectic with high school graduation stuffs and we never picked the book back up and now we've forgotten all the events of the second book and most of the first (literally only remember the end lol).
Of course, we gotta make a bookmark, because we need a fitting bookmark.
Also, once we find our copy of Eragon in our disaster of a room, we're rereading it so we can read through the entire series after finally getting Murtagh!

I just started The House in the Cerulean Sea. It's pleasantly cozy so far.

The Rowan Blood series, I'm on book two and what a roller coaster this book is. I'm happy, then sad, then angry, happy again, wrecked. So many times I've wanted to throw it across my room and scream or cry. c': I love it.

A lot of history books................ They aren't bad, on the contrary I like getting through them! It's just that I would love to get into literary analysis........Alas, I have a couple more weeks until my break so I can dive head first into all of the reading and writing projects I've been skirting lately.

Desert Tales, the last of the Wicked Lovely books by Melissa Marr. I've been rereading the whole series. I need to finish it before the weekend so I can read the book I need to for our "Teachers as Readers" professional development, which is due by next Wednesday.

JUNJI ITO MENTION
I have all his books, i highly recommend Uzumaki, Remina, and Black Paradox! definitely my favorites from him. Also the story collections Venus In The Blind Spot and Shiver. they both have some of my all time favorite short stories by him!
As for what I’m currently reading, at the moment I’m working my way through Paperbacks From Hell. It’s about the history of those funky horror novels that were published through the 60s-90s. it’s very interesting!

House of Leaves...it's quite long and it's mentally draining to read but it's also easily the most fascinating work of literature I've ever had the pleasure to read. Things that can be peeled back, studied, examined — those are my favorites to interact with! If anyone can recommend other books that have multiple layers to them please send them my way!
