I played Poptropica for a time, then came back to find that the game had a whole Diary of a Wimpy Kid plug island. (I remember when that was just a webbook! Shame it's gone now.) I'd pretty much grown out of the game by then, but (IMO) I didn't suffer Big Nate Island* for two DoaWK-themed lands. I have some vivid memories of Astro Knights in all its difficult glory, and that one was more my speed.

If memory serves, my character's name was Invisible Snowball.

*I don't remember the island itself being too bad (if not a little boring). I just don't care for Big Nate.

dont know if it counts as an mmo but does anyone remember the scholastic website spirit animals game? i got a book just to play the game lol, last i heard it got taken down though

no other game lets you kill robots by throwing pies at them

i played tooons of these as a kid... animal jam was my go-to, but i played loads of poptropica, petpetpark, & the lps online game too!!!! ahh...the good ol days.. :') i miss those days but i don't but i do but i sevehly dont. i do miss scamming kids on animal jam though frfr

we definitely loved club penguin, animal jam, pixie hollow, and poptropica! they were some of our favorites!

though i'm surprised to see that nobody's mentioned fantage? we used to love that game! we're still sad it's gone.

i think another one we played was eeko world, or something like that? where you played as an animal but you could mix and match different animal parts?

there was also one around this show we liked. i wanna say it was called planet zula or something but please please don't quote me on that. all i remember about it is that they were aliens and we used to love that show.

we also loved adventure quest? i think that's what it's called. i think it's still around today but we haven't played it in so long that i'm still counting it here lol

I remember Eeko World! I loved making my own animals with it!

Wasn’t an MMO, but anyone remember Sploder? Joined back in Middle school a few years before it died. The site is actually still up last time I checked, but it was made in action script 3 and you cannot log in or play/make games. I was really bad at making games, so I mostly just played. My biggest regret was never beating this game The Jabberwocky, which was a very famous platformer game, known for its plot and the fact it was so incredibly hard, most people never cleared the first level. I remember only getting to the Stone Giants.
Anyone remember this specific game on Sploder?

Used to play Animal Jam, plenty of fond memories trying to get rares, doing wolf pack RPs, doing Warrior Cats RPs, and...... tbh I mostly just traded and roleplayed on there

(I'd get on AJ Classic just to donate all my rares since I don't play AJ anymore and don't need the rares, but I lost my acc in that one big data breach ;-;)


Some other kids MMOs I used to play: Club Penguin, Moshi Monsters, Jumpstart (though I mostly liked taking care of the Mythies on there), Webkinz, I think I used to play Pixie Hollow as well, that one Spirit Animals game, I don't think Neopets counts as an MMO but I used to play that quite religiously as a child (and I recently started playing that again because the nostalgia)
