I still play RuneScape, actually... though right now I'm taking a break from it to play Diablo 3/PoE instead. I have a lot of fond memories of 2007scape and I had lots of online friends via the game! I even got my little sister into it and we still play together every now and then. Even though I stopped playing when Evolution of Combat came out, I eventually went back as an adult when OSRS released. Decided to give RuneScape 3 a try too and turns out, I actually enjoy it just as much as OSRS! It's pretty interesting though to still be playing a game because I enjoyed it so much as a kid and even more so it's still around! Before I was allowed to play RuneScape, I played a LOT of Neopets and some Webkinz too when I got bored of Neopets. RuneScape really opened my eyes to the vast variety of MMORPGs so from there a lot of my childhood was spent playing Pirates of the Caribbean Online, Pixie Hollow, Wizards101, Mabinogi, Gaia Online, and eventually World of Warcraft. Quite a few of those games are either offline or completely dead now. I remember the awe and wonder I felt playing those games as a kid - very good memories for me! :D

Honestly, I am embarrassingly nostalgic for Club Penguin. I played that game consistently for a long time, from 2006 to 2017. My biggest regret is not being on there the moment it shut down. I still miss my account. . . I had so much on there from years of continuous collecting.

I also played Webkinz a lot, although not as much as Club Penguin. Unfortunately, the update they had back in 2015 or so to "modernize" the game kind of ruined it for me. I really hate one of the features they added where pets beg for stuff, and if you don't do it for them, they get sad. It really just bothered me so much to the point where it ruined the game entirely for me; I preferred just feeding my pets every once in a while instead of constantly having to run errands. I'm still really hoping they'll let you turn that feature off someday, so I can play Webkinz in peace again.

Animal Jam was also one I played, but I couldn't really get into it because almost everything revolved around trading, which was extremely boring to me. The only portion of that game's playerbase that didn't seem to obsess over trading was the roleplayers, and that was the one I would hang around back when I played. However, I remember this weird trend developing where all of the top roleplayers had to use "advanced vocabulary/anatomy" which was just littering your roleplay with unnecessary long words, many of which were actually made up. Pretty funny thinking back on it

I played Wizard101 and Pixie Hollow obsessively.

However, one I played but nobody seemed to mention was that Build a Bear MMO, LOL. It was called Bearville and it feels like a fever dream.

[/quote] I adored bearville, I was reminded of it recently and now I miss it so much! I really like the artstyle they used for the backgrounds of most areas, it was so pretty :D

[/quote] Bearville! I remember signing up for it when I got a Hello Kitty character (The brown cat) Build-a-Bear! I loved playing the safari minigame a lot.

God, I've not played maplestory in years. I should redownload that.

I loved cokemusic too. It was like habbo, but you could make little songs on it and people would vote as you were playing it. You'd think kids would troll and just make annoying sounds over and over, but mostly people tried. It was really cute too

Was obsessed with the Pirates of the Caribbean MMO. Loved sailing and adventuring, even though I frequently ran into high-level red enemies that OHKO'd me.

Favorite memory was when me and a rando who joined me finally managed to board an NPC boat (I could never figure out how to do it until that moment), and the moment we landed on the deck, found out it was full of uber level soldiers who just immediately decimated us lol

Also getting chased by a high-level wasp that could poison you, and I kept running past other players to try and get their attention to help me, but they just stood and watched me get destroyed. Basically I died a lot but I had fun

Shoutout to Club Penguin for being my childhood personality for a solid 5 years lol
