oliver buckland's music has me in a chokehold please help
the unfortunate thing about his music is that a. there is only one time i can think of that his stuff uses lyrics that aren't either nonexistent, minimal or highly derivative and b. there's rarely even anything coherent on the frickin album covers to expand off of. so it's hard to make like fanart or w/e in the way one could for lemon demon or will wood for example. aaaand that draws the fans towards the actually fanartable sections (ena + c.ob), which. is not at all a complete representation of the guy's discography. so my main hobby within the fandom is leaving vaguely-incoherent rambles in the comment sections of the songs and looking for leitmotifs/secrets/whatever. to the point that my main "rambling buddy" (person who responds to/adds to/agrees with my rambles) is oliver himself, who i'm not inclined to bother for. obvious reasons. plus there's no real formal community so i can't direct my yelling about the songs to like a dedicated discord or w/e and i have to resort to being annoying on the c.ob and joelg servers and the youtibe comment section and now here. also doesn't help that well over half his stuff is Confined To The One Frickin Platform (soundcloud). but yeah
