I don't have pics on me rn, but I have a bootleg Mega Charizard X Plush and bootleg Charizard Pillow Pet. It's mainly just stuff glued on to make it look official so they're not really funny bootlegs or wacky. I still love them anyways

@Shadria It's a good quality plush, I'm glad it exists even if it isn't official licensed merch since there isn't' any official TLOS related stuff as far as I'm aware. Should be easy to find on ebay at a reasonable price if you ever want to get one for yourself.

I own a bootleg Golden Freddy pillow pet. He’s actually really nice to hug and snuggle and the only thing wrong are his wonky eyes lol.

As a child, I had figures of characters from the Pokemon anime (Ash, Misty, and Team Rocket) that in hindsight I think were bootlegs. I remember the packaging had Chinese or Japanese text, they didn't resemble any figures I saw in stores, and Ash's face looked different.

I was at a costume store today and saw multiple bootleg superheroes; notably “Wonderful Babe” and “Harley Jester”.
Also something that was clearly Cruella De Vil but labeled as “Cruel Villain”, yknow, as opposed to the other kind of villain

Thinking about pokemon bootlegs also got me thinking about digimon fakes. I have an Agumon action figure somewhere. I do find bootlegs fascinating in a way. Its just so amusing how shoddily companies will make these things then try their hardest to make it look like the real thing without saying its the real thing. I unfortunately wound up owning a couple bootleg figures myself. Ladies and gentlemen, let me present these monstrosities to you. [img]https://i.imgur.com/oTtMo5v.png[/img] My mom gave me these when she came back from a vacation in Alaska, and I'm pretty sure they're supposed to be How To Train Your Dragon bootlegs. For comparison I put one next to my Nendoroid Hanzo (Which, Nendoroids are only like, 3 - 4 inches tall), and they barely come up to Hanzo's knees, which makes it really annoying to take pictures of them.
