The notable ones I've seen are usually pokemon. I saw a charizard-raichu hybrid - wish I took a picture! Here are some other pics (not mine):

Bootlegs fascinate the heck out of me.
The only bootleg I truly remember was this one MLP bootleg by Simba Toys. What surprised me was that it was in a legitimate store. I kinda wanted to pick it up, but nehh.
(About that company, they were the original producers of the Filly-franchise before being sold out to Dracco.)
Actually there was kinda an another one, but in a bigger store.
It was one of those cheapo "100 games in one" consoles, and the only image I remember from it was the Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum main characters + the rival playing with a jumping rope??

I'm actually quite a big fan of bootleg my little ponies, even having bought one, removed its makeup, to make my own pony-abomination!!
they are always trying to get so close to the originals, but its often that the snout of the horse looks off, or the eyes are too bug-like
