Owl City (Up All Night and Bird with a broken wing are my favorites but all of them are GLORIOUS )!
Demon hunter (it's heavy metal but amazing)
Skillet(metal)
U2 is a classic
Switchfoot!!!
Of Monsters And Men is nice for calming and slowing down.
The Hunger Games Soundtrack and The Walking Dead Soundtrack is nice for writing action scenes.
Foster the People!
Red Hot Chili Peppers!
The Killers!!!
Gorilaz is awesome!
