I have a super wide range of music taste, but here is some of the music I like to listen to when I draw or anything.
Anything by Imagine Dragons.
Florence +the Machine is amazing!
Owl City (Up All Night and Bird with a broken wing are my favorites but all of them are GLORIOUS )!
Demon hunter (it's heavy metal but amazing)
Skillet(metal)
U2 is a classic
Switchfoot!!!
Of Monsters And Men is nice for calming and slowing down.
The Hunger Games Soundtrack and The Walking Dead Soundtrack is nice for writing action scenes.
Foster the People!
Red Hot Chili Peppers!
The Killers!!!
Gorilaz is awesome!
If you write horror stuff or draw creepy stuff listen to the Coraline Soundtrack.
House of Gold by Twenty One Pilots
Linkin Park (Burn it Down is my favorite)
TobyMac is great!
Left Hand Free by Alt-J on the Captain America: Civil War soundtrack.
Social Distortion is classic.
Soundgarden is great!!
Our Lady Peace (keep in mind this does have some language but great all the same)
Mat Kearney is nice if you like Jack Johnson and Counting Crows.
The Clash!!!
The Ramones are AMAZING!
Johnny Cash!
And so that's about it for now :) and sorry for the super crazy long post!

Cage the Elephant is one of my favorite bands. Abney Park is pretty good too, they make steampunk music if you like that sort of thing.
