To avoid confusion and "oh, the spoiler's cant be THAT bad," the spoilers are for the first episode (of season 2), it reveals who's getting akumatized (which in this case YES IT'S A BIG SPOILER), interactions between Marinette and Fu, as well as the aftermath of Volpina (a little bit), and also more information regarding Gabriel=Hawkmoth (YES BIG SPOILER but, if you do watch, keep in mind that the video alone doesn't show enough information to either prove or disprove. I'm one of those on the fence people, so I can see evidence for both sides, I can really play the devil's advocate on this, and I'm telling you now, that while the video strongly points in one direction, there isn't enough evidence to say for certain)

It's pretty cool to watch, but if you want to watch the first episode fresh and juicy, then I recommend NOT watching

Cat Noir's voice actor for the Castilian Spanish dub tweeted that there will be an episode where Chloe asks Adrien for help at making people like her. He also said that Ladybug and Chat Noir would have an "interesting" TV interview. He has since removed these tweets.

Ezra Weisz [English voice director] has released two videos on his instagram

The first one shows Christina Vee [voice of Marinette/Ladybug] recording for The Collector (first episode of season 2) the link is safe, it's just her yelling lucky charm and showing what random item it'll be for that episode.

The second video once again shows Christina Vee recording for an episode, and yells "Tiki, spots on!" Then Christina looks into the camera and smiles.

As of August 11, 2017 (today technically) the first two episodes for Season 2 have been recorded



As an aspiring animator, I'm finding their process fascinating. It's very common for voice actors to record their lines first and then have the animators sync the audio with the animation (and also use the actors' own facial expressions as inspiration for the characters), but it seems that the Zag team does the reverse in which they animate first and then record the audio.

I mean that's a process that's used as well, I just find it interesting since usually the animators use the actors as a reference for lip syncing and facial expressions

This was originally teased by Thomas Astruc and Winny, when one of the storyboard artists made a comic of the two dancing with each other as a reference for a storyboard, and now it's officially been animated! :D
