@Mikonoda: It's alright. I guess I figured there was an elemental rock-paper-scissors going on, similar to Pokémon or Final Fantasy, and I was trying to figure out which element was weak against which. As of right now, I don't do ranked matches, I just go through for items, achievements, and money. I haven't tried "Rally" yet, maybe I'll equip it on one dragon per team to try it out. Thanks!

@medacris
There definitely is a rock-paper-scissors effect with the elements. I had two shadow dragons in my party, and I hated fighting light enemies, they did more damage to my boys. But unless there's really a LOT of one or two elements in an area, it's hard to plan your team around it. Best to have three different elements, whatever they may be, so that you don't have multiple dragons taking extra damage at once like I did, lol.
Rally will be your saviour. It gives level+5 boost to your strength, which can make all the difference in the world. Doesn't help for magic users as far as I know, but it does wonders for eliminate. And unlike all the passive boost stones, it's an ability so it actually WORKS.

@Mikonoda: Ah, okay! Sorry for the confusion earlier. Only my first trio was entirely one-element, as that was all I had at the time, but I've been slowly diversifying each subsequent trio.

@medacris
No worries, I think the confusion was my fault. I wasn't really clear in my initial answer - there is SOME effect from elements, but not so much that it's worth making sure you have one dragon of every element to fight with. As long as all three in the party are different, that's really the best you can do.

Just wanted to say, thank you so much for this guide! Will you be likely to check the Mire again soon if you have the time?

@Ochrelock
I want to try to get data up for each area before I start going back to try to replace old data. That being said, I do spend more time in the Mire than anywhere else, levelling for exalting. So that will probably be the first one updated.
