@Kiena I have 2 battle dragons and am statting my mage: your current guide says to use the same distribution for a grinding dragon (126str/58qui/11vit) but the mage dragon example has 129int/50/813stats. Which build, at this time, would you recommend? Thank you!

@Urok - Unfortunately, I really need to rewrite the mage section! What are you planning on using the mage for? Leveling in a team of three, fighting in the Golem Workshop, something else?

Jade has the 129 Str/50 Qck/10+ Vit build for a farming build, not a leveling build. She's a bad example, you're right, I need to fix that, too! In general, I match the mage's stats to whatever I'm using on the dragons they're leveling with - in Jade's case, it was a pair of farming dragons, not exalting dragons, hence the incorrect stats. (I can't believe I didn't notice that, yikes. Thanks for pointing that out, I will fix that when I do my rewrite.)

If you're going to use your mage for leveling fodder in the Golem Workshop, however, I actually suggest following the stats in this guide for your mage. It's worked great for me, and I intend to add it to the guide eventually, though I personally don't put anything into Agi - instead anything extra goes into Vit.

I'm very sorry for the confusion! To sum up - if not planning to use in the Golem Workshop, match your fighters. If you are using in the Golem Workshop, I suggest 122 Int/60 Qck/26 Vit.

@Kiena I intend to mostly level fodder but also grind with my 3 25's. I have 2 fully stoned battle dragons(one is tinctured to 126str/58/11, and the other is untinctured 126str/56/10. My mage is currently 126int/49/5(not all points used yet).. I can tincture but would like to know your opinion with my other dragons in mind. I may just go with the stats you mentioned at the bottom (122/60/26). My mage is fully stoned as well.

I like the guide you provided, it's pretty interesting.

@Urok - Honestly, with two level 25 melee dragons, I would only grind most locations just with those two, leaving the mage behind. They should be able to handle anything up to at least Harpy's Roost on their own, saving you a lot of time. Mages are simply bad at grinding (with the exception of Golem Workshop) - their animations take a long time, and they don't have a breath return skill like Eliminate.

With that in mind, I would definitely suggest the 122/60/26 build. That will be perfect to let your mage help out where they're most needed - the Golem Workshop. You could also bring them along to the Kelp Beds until you get used to it, at which point, you can replace your mage with fodder. Same with anything lower level - bring the mage along until you feel comfortable with just your two melee, then replace with fodder to try and make a little extra cash.

Is there a way to remove battle stones that are locked to a dragon?

@Alfani - Unfortunately, no. You can overwrite them with another stone - just place the stone on top and lock it in place - but you can't remove any stones already equipped. You also can't move them around.

@Kiena I figured. Thanks for answering.

So what points should I upgrade if I just want to grind the coliseum or to level up exalt fodder?

@blackshadow1 - If you have three melee fighters, I'd suggest two of them with the 126 Str/58 Qck/11 Vit build - this will allow you to farm anywhere and level a single fodder in the Kelp Beds. For your third fighter, I'd suggest giving one of the 2-fodder at once builds a try. For that, you'd want to choose between the Mire build, the Ghostlight Ruins build, and the Harpy's Roost build.

Mire is the fastest, but only barely. The best elements are Arcane or Earth dragons. Stats are 117 Str/72 Qck/20 Vit. Eliminates will not drop here, which sucks.

Ghostlight Ruins is almost as fast, but is a tiny bit slower, and requires more refreshes if you want to level past level 5, in my experience. The best elements are Water or Nature dragons. Stats are 115 STR / 76 QCK / 17 VIT.

Harpy's Roost is the slowest, but this one actually allows you to kill bosses, which the other two do not. The best element is Wind dragons. Stats are 108 STR / 75 QCK / 38 VIT / 15 DEF.

If you don't have a 25 in one of those 5 elements, I'd suggest the Harpy's Roost build. You have the least amount of trouble with mages in that location.

There's a pure farming build (129 Str/50 Qck/13 Vit), but that doesn't allow for easy leveling of fodder anywhere, and I suggest saving that build for either your second team, or if you do really well with the 2-fodder build above, turning your other two melee dragons into this after you're sure you can level as much fodder as you want with just the one dragon.

If you have a mage instead of a third fighter, I'd suggest sticking with the Kelp Beds fodder build - the builds for 2-fodder at once aren't the best for grinding the Coli. Consider either leveling up another dragon team, or eventually changing the mage into one of those 2-fodder builds.
