noteworthy numbers

This week had the third lowest exalt numbers recorded. In other news, we are about to hit 6,666,666 Lightning element dragons. Who will hatch the lucky egg? The figure for the average number of first generation dragons hatched in a week remains inflated due to the anniversary obelisk release, but we can expect that to smooth out as more weeks of data are added. Fixed a spreadsheet error where these tables were displaying average progens exalted instead of average progens created.

The change in exalted progens was much lower than average this week, so either more newbies kept their progens or more existing plays restored theirs again. The figure for dragons exalted was above average this week, and the number of dragons was only barely higher! as a result, the active dragon population only increased by 2,300. The exaltation figure for this week was particularly low at around 95,000, this is likely people storing up for the upcoming Ice vs Shadow battle. Itis too early to see whether the changes to the Mire venue will have an impact on the exaltation figures. IvS Battle Edition

The Ice v Shadow battle brought a total of 331,072 new exalted dragons. I have a battle week population tracking spreadsheet if you want to check out the day-to-day stats! Aside from the battle, this week had the highest number of new first generation dragons since the Obelisk release, at 10,017 new G1s. This is likely due to Halloween hatches in the day following the last recording. Apparently many of these hatches were terrible as the number of G1 dragons exalted this week was about double the average at 7,861.
