TOPIC | Obelisk Height
Not sure if this is the best place to put this, but I figured I'd put this here for anyone who's curious. Since the statistics only show the length of the dragons, I have decided to calculate the approximate height of Obelisks out of my own curiosity by using pixel measurements. Though, I'm still pretty new at this, so these measurements aren't exact. For anyone interested in the heights of the other breeds, user Banhana has compiled a very nice list that can be found here. So, using Krita, I was able to make this measurement of a female Obelisk: Length ≈ 697 pixels Height at withers ≈ 143.6 pixels Height at head ≈ 233.3 pixels Using these measurements, we can make a multiplier for the height of the head and withers by dividing each height by the length of the dragon. Height multiplier at withers: 0.21 Height multiplier at head: 0.33 To calculate the height of your dragon, just multiply the length by each of these numbers to get the corresponding heights. Let's use one of my dragons as an example. Now you can measure the heights of your own Obelisks! Not sure if anyone else even wanted to know this, but I figured someone might like it, Enjoy!

For anyone interested in the heights of the other breeds, user Banhana has compiled a very nice list that can be found here.

So, using Krita, I was able to make this measurement of a female Obelisk: Obelisk.png

Length ≈ 697 pixels
Height at withers ≈ 143.6 pixels
Height at head ≈ 233.3 pixels

Using these measurements, we can make a multiplier for the height of the head and withers by dividing each height by the length of the dragon.

Height multiplier at withers: 0.21
Height multiplier at head: 0.33

To calculate the height of your dragon, just multiply the length by each of these numbers to get the corresponding heights. Let's use one of my dragons as an example.

Euphoria here is 15.57 meters long, so to calculate her height, we multiply the length by each of the multipliers.

15.57 x 0.21 = 3.27 meters at withers (10.73 feet)
15.57 x 0.33 = 5.14 meters at head (16.86 feet)

And there you go! Now you can measure the heights of your own Obelisks! Not sure if anyone else even wanted to know this, but I figured someone might like it, Enjoy!
