The Sales Page of your Hatchery
Make sure to put your Sales page right after the Introduction!
--That's what people are here for after all! They want to know what you offer and a general idea of what you could be selling. Leave the Breeding Pairs page and other matters AFTER the sales.
List important information about the dragon that you are selling
--What counts as important information? Things that are important factors when buying a dragon. Such as:
- The name, if they have one
- The gender
- The flight from which their eyes are from
- The price for the dragon
The price of a dragon can be a little hard for players to figure out. I'll go more in depth about that soon.
Pricing Dragons
--This is a dicey topic for many players. Some people price the dragon from their genes, eyes, and breed.
--You'll definitely want to price your dragon more than a fodder price to somewhat ensure their worth to the buyer and not get the dragon immediately exalted. A fodder price is 10,000kt or anything lower.
--Another thing to consider is to price how you feel your dragons are worth! Some people price their dragons a little lower because they want the newer players able to buy their dragons.
--Some hatcheries are where the customer's buy the dragon for however much they think the dragon is worth. If you are thinking you want to price your dragons this way, always include the lowest price you'll go for the dragon.
List the genes and/or colors of the dragon you are selling: optional
--Hatcheries sometimes list all the information about the dragon, so if a customer doesn't know what gene a dragon has (or color) they can immediately see what the dragon's genes and colors are. However, hatcheries that do this require a little more time and effort to run. It doesn't hinder your business, most customer's have a general idea of the genes, it's just a way to make your hatchery a little more organized.
--People use generators, or make their own sales cards to tie in with the aesthetics of their hatchery. I suggest not to pay for sales cards because, well, sales are always shifting and when you require services from someone, it's usually somewhat expensive. If you do have the talent of making your own sales cards, go ahead! It does mean you have to put more time into the hatchery.
List what breeding pair your dragonet's came from: optional
--Hatcheries like to list what breeding pair the dragons came from, this way, you know that they are freshly bred from a breeding pair and not some random dragon they have. Also, this is optional. This doesn't hinder your business, it just gives it a little more of an organized look.
