Every year newbies need to know what's up, and while each year sees a few guides to that specific year's goodies, I haven't seen a comprehensive guide to Marva's April Fool's items overall. The goal of this guide is to fill in that gap.
Every April 1st through 2019, "Marva" delivered one (or more) trickcontainer items to each account. It usually appears in the "other" tab of the inventory. Galore will be delivering these for Marva going forward.
During the day of April 1st, (or however long Galore offers his gifts), the trick container can be opened multiple times, each time dropping another version of itself. The versions rotate in a predictable pattern, so you can check out all the options before choosing which version to stop on. (With Galore delivering them over multiple days, we may have multiple days to choose! Be sure to check the Latest News post and/or Site Status messages for details on when the trick containers will change.)
On April 2nd, or whenever Galore's containers time out, whichever version was in your inventory becomes a normal container. When opened, it drops a holiday prize, and it may or may not also drop a "depleted" version of itself (this was common in the early years, but not since Galore took over delivery). There is no way to buy these items (except from other players on the Auction House) but if it follows the pattern of previous years, the prize items will also be occasional drops from gilded chests thereafter, and may rarely appear in Pinkerton's Plundered Pile.
You can still play the infinite opening game after Marva's things drop their prize if the container becomes "depleted." The depleted version of the trick continues to drop an infinite rotation of the other recolors.
Here are the items from years past, for anyone who may want to try collecting them:

These are apparel items that cover up your dragon's normal eyes with larger eyes similar to those displayed on their icons. Like the rabbits, the mirrors are 1-star items, so they shouldn't be too hard to find. Pinkerton has been confirmed to give them out on occasion, as well as both gilded and iron chests."Container" Mirrors:

This year the item were not containers, but clothing items. They were found on the Apparel tab of the hoard, instead of the Other tab. There are two items:
Marva's Invisibility Cloak turns the dragon, and any other clothing below it, invisible.
The Emperor's New Clothes do not change the appearance of the dragon at all.
These are 5-star items!

We have no plans to make them a part of the randomized chest pool at this time, nor are we assigning them a retired status. We may find a way to make these items available again, but for now, the only way to obtain them was to have had an account during the April Fool's 2017 shenanigans!

The invisibility cloaks were made available as rare random chest drops during the week from April 2 to April 7, 2018. Staff hasn't said, as far as I know, but maybe this will be a regular thing? The announcement was in the Site Status posts:

This year featured eggs, which could be swapped between two variants:
Once they stopped opening into each other (after rollover on April 1st) they hatched out into familiars that look different each time you load the page. The eggs did not leave "depleted" versions.
The multi-image familiars are four-star items, and are available from Pinkerton and random chests.

This year features a whopping 14 "containers" - all in the form of boxes of art supplies! The number happened to match the number of existing breeds at the time, and sure enough, what comes out is a "paper mask" of a corresponding breed. The colors roughly match the region from which the breed originates. This year's containers do not drop a depleted container, only a mask. The masks are two-star items, and can appear in random chests.

On April 4th, the Temporary Test Tube opened to deliver a Striped Noggle and the Brilliant Beaker opened to deliver a Hex Noggle. These are four-star familiars. The containers did not drop depleted versions.

This was the year Marva's Marvelous Marvels opened for the first time in the then-brand-new Grand Exchange. Besides a lot of different trades offering gravel in exchange for practically anything else a player might have, the primary exchanges offered were for two scenes. There were two trades for the scenes, one for 1 treasure, one offered in exchange for hundreds of gravel (405). As usual, they were actually chest-type items in disguise that opened into each other until April 4th, when they opened into the real scenes.
