But why do Coatls feed last on seafood? It wasn't suposed that picky breeds go first on the food? Coatls eats ONLY seafood, yet they eat last..... whaaaaat?

It says it in the explanation post: "...except for post-Skydancer-release breeds which got screwed up and put at the end of feeding order."

Coatls, who came after Skydancers, don't follow the general rule of picky eaters eat first.

The feeding order seems to have been affected by the lair revamp, I'm converting insects right now and my Nocturne just ate before my Skydancers. Not sure yet if there are other changes.

edit: Coatls also eat before Snappers.

Oh jeez! Thank you VERY much for bringing this to my attention. I'm not in a position to test this myself so I've put warnings up and a call for aid! Hopefully some kind Lightning-hearted folks will swing by and help out.

I happen to have a lair full of fodder dragons and use subsistence feeding all the time, so I went ahead and got a full set of results for you. :D [s]I did [i]not[/i] expect it to take three hours but oh well.[/s] By the way, as far as I could tell (although I wasn't explicitly keeping track), the second rule of feeding "Within a breed, food is distributed from oldest to youngest" still appears to be true. (I did this by buying a couple of fodder dragons after testing each food type.) I have no idea what's the most efficient way to test and record things, so I went with the dumbest method: Before starting the test, I went through my whole lair and wrote down the names of all dragons categorized by breed, plus what energy level each of them were at. ...That took a while. Then I began testing, using your original feeding results as a guide. What this resulted in was a pretty ugly-looking, potentially incomprehensible, and [i]very long[/i] record of my testing process... but hopefully this means I haven't made any grievous mistakes? Maybe?
